Henry T officially gone

I've been saying it all off-season...and now you all can't deny it anymore. That 3-7 team was the biggest waste of talent in Tennessee Football history. Gray is starting at OU. Lawrence a backup DB here is starting at OU. Morris projected starter.
Chandler at UNC and many more.

And YES. Henry To'oto'o will start at Alabama. They are absolutely set on defense except for one ILB spot...which has now been filled. He'll be playing beside Christian Harris- an 80 tackle 4.5 sack LB and Will Anderson probably the best pass rusher in the SEC, and only a sophomore.

What did we replace him with?
The best Linebacker Texas has had in years, and future NFL draft pick...so we didn't lose anything truly. It's just that we still need to add a pass rusher and athletic CB...

I personally like the nastiness Mitchell brings. It doesn't mean Henry To'oto'o was a dud. Obviously not if Bama accepted his transfer. I don't think we will miss him though.

I've been excited about seeing Mitchell play beside Banks. Garland looks to be a solid 4th LB/ special teamer.

I like how things are being shaked up!! It creates uncertainty. I have to be real. Bama looked super sloppy in their spring game. Talented but super sloppy. Not sold on O'Brian as OC. They're vulnerable.
Henry T will wind up on them bench Alabama has better linebackers than him. I hope he has horrible luck and winds up watching the games from the bench and having to live off of his college degree.

I really don't understand the hate for the kid. Are any of you calling the players that transferred to use quitters and wishing them the worst after they left their school.
They not mad bc he left, they mad bc he chose Bama who is a sworn enemy. I have never heard anybody say Benedict Arnold did what was best for him.

It's so dumb

Him going there practically makes no difference.

There's no way the coaching he would get there would be so much better that it just transforms the player he is all together.

Hes essentially just getting a bump just because it's bammer.

He's drafted either way and the difference is likely very minimal.
I could see him playing in the CFL

Like it or not college football is a business for the players coaches and schools. Henry made a business decision. All we have to do is look at the last NFL draft. He wants to play on Sunday’s and he thinks his best shot is at another school. Blame the leadership at UT for the past and present mess in the athletic dept.

I kind of thought that Henry may have been one of the players receiving money . . . . Gray, Q, Morris, etc. They are all gone now along with the coaches, it is time for us to move on as well.

As CJH has stated, he is for the the guys in the locker room and not the ones that left. Which is the right approach.

I’m only mad bc he’s going to Bama. Leaving your brothers just to go face them next season playing for our biggest rival. I sincerely wish him the worst
Most players don’t care about that. College sports has turned into a mercenary business. The whole “I’ll give my all for Tennessee” days are long gone.
