There does seem to be some tampon issues with you. Everything is a shat on the staff, program, players, etc post. Then when someone contradicts you, you react like a teenager with pms for the first time. Just my observation.

I've definitely noticed it too. Typical negavol. Gonna get divorced like 47 times because no one can tolerate that negativity for extended periods of time.

Seems just the opposite from my perspective. I can say any number of neutral or positive things... nada.

I point out some unpleasant reality that could reflect badly on the coaches.... and you guys go into full fledged
"tampon mode". Many here truly are like a 13 year old at "that time of the month" that can't handle hearing anything except how pretty they are.

I guess you think I'm disagreeing alone... in spite of the number of people arguing with me, right?

It isn't funny. Lying is actually pretty pathetic.

I have made many, many positive comments about the program, its direction, and the staff. I've even referred to them as "elite" in some respects. That doesn't mean that signing four 4* DE prospects only to see 3 of them leave before their Soph year is "good" or "not a problem" or doesn't potentially point to a failure of the coaches.

FWIW, I really like the Bussey commit to go with Hurd and Kamara. IMO, that was a great find by the staff. He looks underrated to me.

Why can't you simply respect the guys opinion? Or better yet, debate him. Surely you can defend your position without having to insult him. You know as well as I do that these drive by insults that most make here are because they can't formulate a complete sentence or make a case for their opinion that doesn't sound like its coming from a 5th grader. It's just easier to distract by insult. Your better than that, right?

What is there to debate? I am merely defending the program. He chooses the opposite a vast majority of the time. I rarely insult him personally, reading his posts is an insult to my intelligence. I am merely pointing out his negativity with the hopes it will change.

Thats what a forum is for. To discuss/debate and interact with other fans about UT football. What the hell would we talk about on here if we all sat around slapping each other on the back all the time and proclaiming how great things are? One big circle jerk. I mean you can only say "Great game" "Butch is a great recruiter" "Butch is really turning it around" so much.

It's the other stuff that makes it interesting. To me anyway. Hell, I can hear all the "Butch is great" and stuff like that from the random guy wearing a UT hat at the mall.

From what? Inconvenient facts? Someone on a message board pointing out things that could HARM the program in reality if they continue? I'm sure you see yourself as noble in this and me the villain. But what harm exactly do you think comes to the program by saying that it isn't good for the program for 4 of the 7 guys signed as DE's to leave before their 2nd year?

That isn't an attack on the program. That's a simple, true statement.

It is an opinion... but I think a reasonable one... that they cannot continue that rate of attrition at that position. Do you really disagree with that? I have NEVER said they would continue it or they wouldn't... only that they couldn't and be successful.

So whatever reason those 4 guys left... the staff has to review what they're doing "critically" and make adjustments.

we lost a couple of freshmen that were good players. you think that's news to the coaches? learn from it and move on and try to do a better job vetting these 17-18 yr old kids..........its not an exact science!

Please for the sake of the board 18, let it go. You made your point about a 1000 times over. Move on.

Carr left apparently because the staff no longer believed he was a DL and asked him to play OL.

Henderson apparently couldn't get his grades straight.

That leaves Hendrix who played as a Fr... And if he was worried about immediate playing time then why would he transfer knowing that he would have to sit out a year?
