Well, none of the QBs have proven anything yet.. Are you saying that we just need 3 QBs? Right now, I think we just have Bailey, Salter & Mauer. How many of those 3 QBs have proven that they can win? Does Mauer have his emotions ironed out? What if someone gets hurt? How many quality QBs do you think a top 20 D1 program needs in any given year?

Simple....he knows he’s better than every QB on this roster and can start....regardless of who the HC is. If Bailey’s dad is serious and he is only there for Pruitt...then his odds really go up on starting.

Hooker and Blow is almost as good as "Scott to Trott."

Thats why a lot of the Va Tech fans keep saying that they hope it doesn't get cold in Knoxville on comments about the transfer! I guess he fumbled on both of his snaps vs Clemson and one got returned for a td.

Looks like he saw some JG in Bailey when he held the ball too long since folk think chaney is so great. i didnt agree with letting shrout go, but this guy is a major upgrade....plus he can RUN.

I'm not sure why you are so anti Bailey. Hooker is a mid level ACC QB and we were probably his only P5 option besides maybe NC St. He struggled this year and couldn't nail down the starting spot. He had a disastrous game vs Clemson where he fumbled multiple times and blamed the cold.
