HBO's "Game of Thrones"

If it's dead then it shouldn't still be able to breathe - much less breathe fire. An ice dragon is fine as long as it can't still spit fire.

It's an Ice Dragon. no fire, but vastly cold breath.

It will be turning people into human popsicles.

it is known.

How the hell do they deal with this? I mean the dragons were THE ace in the hole for humans.

interesting question. between fire and ice though, fire still wins. def complicates things a bit though for sure.

this obviously had to happen though. with three dragons, and no ice dragons on the other side, this great war would have fizzled out pretty fast.

next possible replacement for Brady? I think so.

sooo many questions....

first off. when will the Dany/Jon romance happen? writing is on the wall there.

Wonder if they'll just ally with Cersey?

what we don't know yet is what does fire do to the White Walkers? King daddy appeared to walk through some.

so what's the story with Benjen - why is he dead but not dead but not a wight?

In the books he's known as Cold hands. To keep him alive the Children of the Forest inserted dragon glass into him.

"during his fateful ranging beyond the wall, he was attacked by White Walkers, one of whom shoved an ice sword into his gut and left him for dead. He was discovered by the Children of the Forest, who saved him and stopped him from becoming a wight by shoving a piece of dragonglass into his chest."

saw something else where the CoT told Bran and company that Coldhands (the book version) had been around for 100s of years - IOW Benjen is not Coldhands in the book?

Benjen isn't Coldhands per se. The show put a lot of characters together to save time. Gendry's show story is mixed in with his book brother Edric Storm. Sansa's show story has elements from her best friend from the book. Daario got some story from my favorite character.

"D***?"
"C***"
"Aww D***, I like it."
"Yeah, I bet you do."
"Nope, It's P**** for me"

One of the funniest back and forths I've ever seen. I had to go back and rewatch that exchange at least 3 more times.

They walked through (fire disappeared when they neared it) that fire ring that the children had set up last season in the "hold the door" episode.

just saw on the twitter that Longclaw's pommel (the wolf) opened it's eyes when Jon came out of the water. The posted a before and after but not sure if it was a photoshop job or really happened.

I think it was just covered with snow, then a droplet of water uncovered the eyes underneath...but who knows. I have seen the pics of Longclaw when Jon went north of the wall to rescue/unite the wildlings. When they were on the boat looking at the white walker army the eyes of Longclaw had a sort of bluish hue. Could've been an oversight but it could also have something to do with the fact that the handle is made from Weirwood...which we know little about, other than it's mysterious, magical and can live forever - no ones knows why they live forever...but it might have something to do with the children of the forest absorbing themselves into the Weirwoods when they die..
