HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Spoiler for episode 6...do not read if you don't want part of the episode to be spoiled.

The guys that decided to march beyond the wall get themselves into some **** and Dany rides in to save the day. This part idk if it's a 100% sure or not but I believe it is...somehow one of her dragons dies (Viserion) during this and becomes an Ice Dragon and that's how the Knight King tears down part of the wall in episode 7.

SPOILER..I've seen about 4 minutes of the new episode

SPOILER
Ice King uses ice lance to kill a dragon which sinks into a frozen lake..Ice King has minions drag dead dragon out..resurrects it into a white walker ice dragon thingy. The humans are also capturing the wights and impaling them on the dragons spikes to take them across the wall it seemed.

So apparently after all the hacking, the responsible party for the episode 6 leak is....HBO. They accidently made it available on demand in Europe.

Well the leaks are true and what I posted about the ice dragon was true. They need to do a better job about the leaks in season 8. It's one thing to have a show leaked a couple days before it's suppose to air...but damn how are you going to let the scripts leak for an entire season smh. I'm really glad that I haven't read any spoilers for the 7th episode because I have heard from many people that it is epic and the best episode yet.

Also spoiler for episode 6...

To the people that complain about the time and how crazy it works in these episodes. They're really going to freak out when Gendry runs alllll the way back to Eastwatch to have a raven sent to Dany...who then flies allll the way where Jon Snow & CO...damn I'm usually not nitpicky about time in this show because they don't have a lot of time showing how people move from place to place, but that was terrible writing. It would have taken days or weeks for all of that to play out. They might as well have given Jon Snow and Dany a phone and just let him call her to come help instead of sending a raven. That would have been just as believable../end rant

Hell, would have been better if they had Melisandre see Jon Snow in trouble in a vision and had Dany act on the vision.

I had read this in some other places. Appears to have legs now.

They definitely should have thought of something better.

It annoyed me how they brought along random no-names to die. At least one of Beric, Tormund, and/or Jorah should have died.

Other than the priest did someone else die?
I was watching on my phone, but I saw someone fall off the rock and screamed to their death. I thought it was Tormund at first?

We call them..."red shirts"..in the biz..

Ok so Bran watches EVERYTHING but decides to not watch the guys go out and fight the White Walkers? He would have been really helpful sending a raven to Dany instead of having Gendry run who knows how many miles to send one?

Where is the red witch? I kind of miss seeing her ta-tas every 3 episodes.

I felt the same way about her until that scene where she took off the necklace and turned into a 100yr old wrinkled up naked prune.

Now every time I see her I am reminded of waking up beside some of those "hotties" I used to pick up at the bar. Sends a cold shiver up my spine.... lol

So pretty much the whole script leak in the off season has turned out to be true? I can't remember what is said about episode 7

I watched the leak

And holy crap that was dumb. So are ravens like emails and and do dragons fly at the speed of sound? Is Gendry an Nigerian distance runner in disguise? Why couldn't Benjen leave too? Damn Jon's plot armor is so much better than Jaime and Arya. So the White Walkers attacked and 1 guy who mattered dies. Surrounded by Walkers 1 guy dies.

I've clearly been defending this show, and I still will. That said, it's hard to disagree with any of that. I would even add the following:

1.The final scene between Arya and Sansa. Why are you trying to terrify your sister?
2. If the Night King can throw like that, why not throw at them while they're stranded on the ice? And why not throw at the stationary Drogon while they're trying to escape?
3. They definitely could have killed off some characters that matter (other than the dragon). Nobody has any emotional connection to Thoros. This episode would have been more powerful if we lost Tormund, which was clearly possible.

I'm not one of those people who think the show has been declining in quality, but this episode definitely had some annoying moments.

Just watched a short clip from EP 6
I just saw the scene of Tormund talking to the Hound about Brienn...that was hilarious

that was classic. It's what I love about the show more than the action...character interaction and dialogue.

BTW stay away from youtube unless you want to get spoiled. Fair warning.

They're trying to cram 2 seasons worth of material into one season. Still good, but the show should be like a fine wine, more enjoyable to sip than to chug. We're chugging right now.

To be fair, there's a limit to how much they can spread things out. People accuse them of trying to rush things, but the real issue is it clearly takes a lot of time to make these episodes, and the amount of time it takes has been increasing. I doubt we would see the end of the series before 2020 if they were trying to make these last two seasons ten episodes each.
