HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Do they have more of the giant dragon-killing crossbows? My wife said they do but I don't remember them mentioning it.

They would need more than one. Sure they have one set up at every high vantage point. But NOW they're not going to have the element of surprise

Hell yes. Everything about this episode was great, but for some reason this was my favorite scene.

The Hound mocked that style of fighting but did teach her to go for areas not protected by armor. She melded a little of everything she's learned and she's pretty badass!

I liked that line were Arya said, "he didn't beat the Hound", when telling Brienne she wanted to practice with her. That look she had while staring up at LittleFinger could be bad news for LF.

He's not on her "list", but I bet she's amenable.

I liked this scene the most because I think it culminated the build up to Sansa seeing Arya has become quite the badass. It starts when Arya mentions her list and Sansa kind of laughs it off. Then Bran mentions Circei and the list, and Sansa starts to realize the list really exists. Then this scene, where Arya shows off a bit of her skill. The littlest wolf has a very big bite.

I wondered that, but didn't LF put the knife to Neds throat? If she finds that out.....

That was my thought as well. She's gonna learn LF's involvement in her father's death somehow, be it through Bran or some other way, and he'll make the list. That'll be her reward for not getting to kill Cersei.

On another note..did you catch the way that Tyrion was looking in next week's preview..Is that little turd gonna turn traitor for his sorry family?

Didn't notice it. I'll have to rewatch. But if Tyrion did return to his family, I'm not so sure it would be as traitor. Maybe he'll seek a truce or something? It would be interesting because Cersei would not be very welcoming. Even after Lady O's confession cleared him of killing Joffrey, Cersei still has to suspect he's the one the prophecy says would kill her. Then Jaime would be in the spot of choosing between his sister and his brother.

I'm looking forward to Jaime eventually killing Cersei, and yes, I'm convinced it'll happen. I expect it will be epic. The only thing that would top it is if Jaime killed her, and the ripped off a mask revealing Arya. I think I would lose it, lol.

There are few characters left on the show that I can't stand, but LittleFinger is definitely one of them. I don't like him lurking around at Winterfell looking at everyone like some pervy Step uncle.. He needs to get on Arya's list. I also want Creepy Bran to start spilling secrets in earnest.

During the battle, it was stressful watching Jaime, Bronn, then the Dragon in peril. I don't think Jaime or Bronn are dead or that Tyrion will change sides. I would think that Tyrion will plead for their lives to Dany, since he cares for both of them. Maybe they will help with the White Walkers.

In the preview when Dany is saying something to what looks like a lot of soldiers about bending the knee or else she was going to burn them all(paraphrasing) The camera cuts to Tyrion giving a weird look to I think Varys. And I can't wait to see Jaime gut that nasty evil woman either. I figure he will catch her in flagrante delicto with Euron and lose it..

For people saying that the Lannister gold did make it to the Iron Bank, how did it? Cersei specifically says her brother is escorting the gold to the Iron Bank and the beginning of the episode shows the wagon full of gold. I took that as the dragon just melted it all and now the Lannisters are in debt again. Plus the Iron Bank guy says "you will have our full support...as soon as the gold reaches the bank."

Awesome episode though. Got goosebumps when Drogon came flying in over the Dothraki

smh. 😊 Brother..you need to rewatch the scene where they literally say "The gold has made it through the gates"...Randall Tarly then tells Jaime that they need to tighten up their column because they are too strung out if they are ambushed, and he tells Jaime they need to flog the stragglers to get them moving faster. They are at Blackwater Rush, just down the road from Kings landing.

I'm not sure how I missed that :) I will have to rewatch it

They did a great job on the scorpion design by the way. I couldn't figure out why strategically they were that big of a problem because I assumed that because they are so big, that they would be stationary like a ballista, and the Dragon could just fly up from behind and burn it...And for those that don't know..the scorpions are not some new idea that Qyburn ingeniously created..The Dornish killed one of Aegon the Conquerors dragons with one. That is a big reason why Dorne was never conquered..

I've had this sneaking suspicion that Jaime will kill Cersei. Arya is way too obvious and Jaime already killed a ruler once, and it was bad for him but good for the kingdom. Getting captured throws a wrench into this prediction tho.

The Valanquar prophecy of Maggie the frog is obviously totally misread by Certs...They are twins, but she was born first...just curious, are you a book reader?

I missed it, too. So if Dany and the Dothroki are that close to King's Landing, do they go ahead and attack? Maybe not, since they seem to have only one dragon and he's injured. I wonder if all the food they got from HighGarden got "cooked" by Drogan? I know it's just a show, but the way everybody is moving from place to place so quickly is getting a little ridiculous, imo. They should at least put a little " Meanwhile" and/or "2 Weeks Later" at the bottom of the screen.
