The Hound mocked that style of fighting but did teach her to go for areas not protected by armor. She melded a little of everything she's learned and she's pretty badass!
Hell yes. Everything about this episode was great, but for some reason this was my favorite scene.
On another note..did you catch the way that Tyrion was looking in next week's preview..Is that little turd gonna turn traitor for his sorry family?
Didn't notice it. I'll have to rewatch. But if Tyrion did return to his family, I'm not so sure it would be as traitor. Maybe he'll seek a truce or something? It would be interesting because Cersei would not be very welcoming. Even after Lady O's confession cleared him of killing Joffrey, Cersei still has to suspect he's the one the prophecy says would kill her. Then Jaime would be in the spot of choosing between his sister and his brother.
I'm looking forward to Jaime eventually killing Cersei, and yes, I'm convinced it'll happen. I expect it will be epic. The only thing that would top it is if Jaime killed her, and the ripped off a mask revealing Arya. I think I would lose it, lol.
for people saying that the lannister gold did make it to the iron bank, how did it? Cersei specifically says her brother is escorting the gold to the iron bank and the beginning of the episode shows the wagon full of gold. I took that as the dragon just melted it all and now the lannisters are in debt again. Plus the iron bank guy says "you will have our full support...as soon as the gold reaches the bank."
awesome episode though. Got goosebumps when drogon came flying in over the dothraki
smh. 😊 Brother..you need to rewatch the scene where they literally say "The gold has made it through the gates"...Randall Tarly then tells Jaime that they need to tighten up their column because they are too strung out if they are ambushed, and he tells Jaime they need to flog the stragglers to get them moving faster. They are at Blackwater Rush, just down the road from Kings landing.
The Valanquar prophecy of Maggie the frog is obviously totally misread by Certs...They are twins, but she was born first...just curious, are you a book reader?I've had this sneaking suspicion that Jaime will kill Cersei. Arya is way too obvious and Jaime already killed a ruler once, and it was bad for him but good for the kingdom. Getting captured throws a wrench into this prediction tho.
Another cameo last night:
