HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Do you think Bran stays North of the Wall for a bit (long enough for that to play out)? It seems like as soon as he passes the Wall, the **** hits the fan with the White Walkers, and priorities change immediately. Also, Bran is the undeniable heir to Winterfell, so the whole bastard man vs. true-born woman issue becomes irrelevant. The only thing I can imagine keeping Bran from immediately returning to Winterfell is seeing something in a vision that tells him to go elsewhere.

On Bran - his perspective will not be concerned with the present so I don't think he will get involved in the power politics of Winterfell. The dude travels through time and space now... being an heir/King is small potatoes. He's a demi-god

Ah, so the thinking is that Bran will go to Winterfell, but renounce his claim and let Jon and Sansa figure it out (with Little Finger in their ears, I'm sure).

I wonder if Bran will spill the beans on Jon (at least to a trusted inner circle of people), or if something he's seen will make him keep it to himself.

pretty much. I look forward to LF getting back into the middle of things - he's one of my favorite characters

I do see a bit of a predictable plot-line unfolding:

Something happened to the Mad King during his reign that will involve Bran influencing the past.

The constant repeating of "Burn them all" that the Mad King is now infamous for will have to do with burning the White Walkers in some extravagant final battle of the story.

I'm pretty sure that's how this whole thing is going to end.

From what I've seen from the trailers HBO has released I would predict that Bran, Arya, and Sansa will reunite while Jon is meeting with Dany at Dragonstone. The only people that know who Jon's real parents are, are Bran and Sam. Sam is also the only one that knows how to turn dragon glass into Valyrian steel.

Dont forget about Howland Reed. He's not been introduced in the show except for the flashback at the Tower of Joy - but he's still alive and could make an appearance in this season. He and Ned were the only survivors of the Tower of Joy confrontation

Fire doesn't kill the White Walkers. Remember Jon's fight at Hardhome. One walks into a burning building and the flames died back.

Also I would hope that Bran has learned his lesson about effecting the past. Him being the voice in the Mad Kings head would be bad storytelling IMO.

I assume dragon-fire would kill white walkers

Jon killed a white walker with fire at Castle Black early on, did he not? Or was that just a wight?

Spot on. His role in the end will be fun to watch. I also like The hound as well. I've just finished rewatching the entire series and I have to say the entire House of white/black story bored me. Everything else was much better the second time around. I missed so much just trying to keep up

Is that from the books because I only watch the tv show and nowhere has this been shown. Only Valarian steel and dragon glass

I don't remember it being mentioned in the books, but it's been a while since I read them. I believe it's assumed that dragon fire will kill the White Walkers because it's the common denominator between dragon glass and Valyrian steel.

Littlefinger actions will get interesting when Jon leaves Winterfell in Sansa's charge and goes to meet Dany it will get even more interesting when Arya arrives. If Arya finds out Littlefinger betrayed Eddard in the Red Keep she will put his head on a spike.

Gotcha, thought I missed an episode somewhere. Bit of panic set in.

Wonder if there's any way to bottle dragon fire, ala wildfire. Also, could wildfire be used against walkers? Just brainstorming...

Not sure about the wildfire question but didn't Cersei use all the remaining wildfire nuking the High Sparrow?
