As for Albert's comments: I would not have made them publicly.
If you want to say something to Butch, say it to Butch. Call him. If you can't get him to take your call, send him an email. Write him a letter. Fax it to him. Text him. Go see him. Whatever, just have a conversation with the man.
What Albert said reflects the feelings of much of Volunteer Nation. But what he did was far too public to be sincere.
If I want you to do better at something, I don't publish my recommendations for the world to see. I send them to you personally, direct.
If I want to embarrass you, or shame you, or show that I'm smarter than you, I publish my recommendations for public consumption.
Bottom line is, Albert makes some good points in a bad way with poor judgment. Penny wise, pound foolish.
