Haynesworth calling for boycott...

Lol, all those guys are Slaw, and he said on Twitter that he was withdrawing his name for consideration. Which is common knowledge for “they told me to kick rocks” And evidently you have never been a hiring manager, you don’t give an interview as a courtesy, you interview to fill the position. You don’t waste your time on courtesy. And I’m no idiot, and I would appreciate you keeping those type comments to yourself.
Hyatt and Wideman are slaw?? Wow.
Merrill a kid that just got on campus.
Dude just shut up....

Do you have any idea how many probowls that man has produced compared to other coaches? He's great, definitely SEC caliber and has previous experience in college coaching
Leftwich has never coached in college, Eric B did 10 years ago. Both of those are great coaches, but are NFL guys. But, yeah, I’d take Eric B, also the guy that was at SF. My point was, in the college ranks, there aren’t many guys in the pipeline, and one reason there aren’t a lot is the degree requirements. I was actually a fan of Elliott, and he will get a chance sooner rather than later. The problem isn’t systemic racism, it’s a true lack of qualified candidates.

Sorry, Wideman hasn’t produced anything, and like you said, the other just got on campus. Dude take the glasses off
And if you don’t like the comments, there is this thing called an ignore button, you betas should learn to use it.
Shut up, now that’s the way to defend your position.

So Hyatt as well?

You are a troll.

And you trying to sound tough over the internet with someone you'll never meet is really indicative of your lack of insight on anything about success. But we could change that if you want...

And what do you know about NASA?

Tony Elliott turned us down flat. James Franklin turned us down flat. Also, didn't I read somewhere that Eric Bieniemy was offered the head coaching position at his alma mater Colorado and he turned it down? I'm not saying there aren't instances where minority coaches get passed over unjustly. However you're not exactly reinforcing your case regarding coaching inequality when minority coaches are passing up opportunities when they come their way.

Well tell me more about how you can change that, I’m interested.
And I’m not trying to sound tough, not sure where that came from. I do know it’s rent free in your head.

We live in a Nation that believes someone should get an interview based on skin color, not qualifications. If you fall in line with that thinking, you're part of the problem.
I don't live in a Nation like that.
I live in a society like that. Legislature isn't going to fix it, hasn't for centuries. You can't regulate attitude.

I’ve seen white boys get jobs with much less than his OC/ AHC experience so miss me with this bull💩

So you just going to ignore the fact that Tennessee supposedly tried harder to hire a black guy named tony Elliot, who said no, then fell back on heupel? They tried to hire a black guy, but it wasn’t your black guy so now they must be racist? If you want to tall about idiots, take a look at yourself because this crying racism is so fu***** stupid. Foh....

For UT to be a racist school they sure did throw a lot of money at Franklin and Elliott to come here not to mention we held a Jewish guy on campus in pretty high regard, he may or may not have coached basketball.

Honest conversation, if you took the fact that Tee played here out of the conversation we wouldn't even be having this conversation. If you don't hire Tee then it means you hate Tee, if you hire Tee and have to fire Tee then you hate Tee its a no win situation because whoever the next coach was going to be is set up for failure. It's not a good time, I think Tee will eventually get to be a HC but he's going to have to take on a smaller school first. I think he will and I think he'll do great but again now is not the time for Tee. It's too toxic here

Society is seriously jacked up!!!!!
In the twilight of my 7th decade and I can say that, even with my vivid imagination, I am seeing and hearing things unlike anything I've ever experienced, outside of apocalyptical fiction. And, I've lived across the country in that time.

Everyone, it seems, is focused on what "they want".
Eastern philosophy has a saying "Desire is the root of all suffering"...took me awhile to get that but, now, I have no argument against it.

Haynesworth only put forth an effort at UT when it suited him. Beast in some games, no show in others. That being said, if he wants to be upset about UT not hiring a minority, be mad about Derek Dooley getting hired over Kippy Brown. Tee being a member of Pruitt's staff, there is no way he was going to be considered. Credentials aside. To only consider a candidate based on skin color is asinine. I don't care if he/she is purple. If they can beat Bama, Georgia, Florida, they have my full support.

To this point specifically, can you tell me the most prominent black person in UTs athletic department? Are there any black head coaches in any of the sports?
No because I don't grade them by skin color. I really don't care what color skin they wear to work.
