Exactly where and when did Butch talk to Striker? Striker makes it sound like he was in front of the OU section when Butch approached him. A member of the media (WVLT) said that Striker was over near the end zone outside of TN's tunnel at some point and he was trying to engage the TN players as they were exiting.

The reporter also said that Striker was instructed by a member of the OK staff to go over to the UT recruits section to taunt them AFTER the words came from Butch.

I was in YY 10 near the rail and saw it all. Striker basically took a victory lap around the field and stopped and was jawing and gesturing to the recruit area near the goal posts where our tunnel is. He threw his helmet, more than once. During this Butch came up and said something to him. After that the gestures and arm waving continued until he finally got to where the OK fans were in the northeast corner of the stadium. Our players were looking at him as he did it and I saw a couple (I think McKenzie was one) stop and stare, but then keep going into the tunnel. Im sure it was hard not to go over and kick his butt. He deserved it. What a lack of class.

When Butch same up to Striker it was slightly to the east sideline in front of the goal posts near the goal line (north end). Within 10 yds of where our players were walking off the field toward our tunnel

Again, I don't think we are disagreeing.

Striker is a tool, and I don't have an issue with Butch saying something like that to him in passing.

People just like to make a really big deal out of trivial little things like this. That's why this has blown up for no reason.

Butch wasn't out of line if it was that close to UT's tunnel.

A fan curses you or flips you off, you have to take it and laugh it off. The fan is never on the cover of SI representing their university. There are different rules when you play big time sports. It's not fair but that's how it is and your boy made your university look bad.
