Has Jennings declared yet?

Yes I did, the league is as desperate for tackles as they are for QBs. He's a project I know, but its not out of the realm.
Dude sorry to jump in here but NO WAY does Richmond get drafted or even get a look as an UDFA most likely, dude is softer than a giant teddy bear and the film shows it time and time again

I hope JJ comes back, but I wouldn't be surprised if he left. Would be a mistake in my opinion. Marquez North made the same mistake. I hope he doesn't follow suit.

He got a late round draft grade from one of the services I saw, as ridiculous as it sounds the leage is just as desperate for anybody that can play the tackle position as they are for QBs.

Jennings is a great WR stuck in the most sh*tty situation ever.

He’s got major potential to be an NFL player.

Plus performance at TN seems to be no indication of draft result (though not necessarily future success.)

In the NFL, you dont have to run a sub 4.5 to be a successful WR.

Larry Fitzgerald 4.6
Jerry Rice 4.7
Chris Carter 4.6
Anquan Bolden 4.7

The NFL is more about route running and knowing how to get open and having great hands. I dont know that he'll get drafted, but he certainly checks those boxes in my book.
Throw the 40s out the window and just watch them run. They make JJ look like he’s running in sand. JJ is one of the toughest WRs I’ve ever seen, but that may not be enough to start in the NFL.

I disagree that we will not have anyone drafted.

Kyle Phillips if he works hard and gets stronger over the next couple of months, he will get drafted. The guy had 4 sacks, 1 int, FF, FR, 4 PB and was 3rd on the team in tackles.

If he could run a 4.7-4.8 40 and get at least 33 reps in the bench, interview well, I almost guarantee he would get drafted.

We will have multiple players at least make a preseason roster - Tuttle, A. Johnson, London (based on overall body of work), Chryst (Same as London), Jennings (If he declares), Possibly even T. Kelly.

All it takes is a good pro day and someone thinking we can make something of that guy. I've seen players with worse stats from worse teams get drafted.

I think we're due a Juan Jennings rant, I mean it's been over a year..........

If Jennings declares he'll get drafted by someone at some point. I hope he comes back but I truly wish him well if he doesn't. He gave us some great moments

I think Jennings should stay his senior year. I feel like our offense will be 150% better next year.

Jennings is not NFL talent right now and needs a healthy year to prove his worth
JMHO

I wonder if they've ever considered trying to move Jennings to tight end? He has the height (for college, anyway), blocking ability, and definitely the toughness - he would just need to add 20-30 pounds.

Go Vols!

Lol. Taylor played about 3 out of 12 games, is wildly inconsistent and a no-show most of the time. Not an nfl player...not really an SEC player. Maybe if he stays and dedicates himself he can somehow improve, have a decent senior season and get drafted late, but probably an UDFA.
DT is not a primary SEC edge rusher. He would be a phenomenal 2nd fiddle, but he's much more of a Corey vereen than a Derek Barnett when teams can scheme for him specifically

UT doesn't have any Jr's that should consider leaving early. All are marginal late round guys right now. All can improve their chances with another year. That said, guys leave for their own reasons all the time. Maybe they're tired of the college game and think it is worth the chance. Some get bad advice. Some already have a degree and don't see the worth in staying in college another year.

Lots of possibilities as to why someone with a slim chance of making an NFL roster might try anyway.

Jennings like many others suffered from playing for Jones. Jones' system, development, and knack for getting lots of guys injured... hurt the chances of some of the "marginal" NFL prospects.

W/o truly knowing what happened (or circumstances involved), it's pretty difficult to infer his lack of character.

Did he leave the team? Then when the man he felt mistreated him was gone, beg to come back?
I think it is pretty simple to do more than "infer".
You do not quit on your brothers.

I don't see him adding to his tape next year, but another injury is well within the realm of possibility. He should go for it.
