Has Jennings declared yet?

Drew Richmond? Drew Richmond?! He's probably made a few pro scouts vomit when they saw his lack of effort. That will be his biggest contribution to the NFL.

I think Jennings would be better served coming back one more year, and think he probably will. If he has a decision to make, wishing him the best of luck with his choice. Go Vols!

I think it's good he has another year of eligibility JJ almost blew it last year wanting to play in the Vandy game. He seemed banged up most this year he could really improve himself next year.

Oh my how people have turned on one of our best players. If he goes just know that he was under utilized here by Butch and Helton. I would have used him a lot more on 3rd and short or in corner throws in the endzone. In the NFL the quarterbacks are able to throw to tight gaps so it's not always about speed although I think he has enough to have a career in the NFL. I think he was one of our most sure handed receivers here since he walked on campus and he is also a tough tackle one on one with a DB.

I can't imagine him coming back. but its possible. Probably will get a 4th-5th round grade.

Don't really see anybody else going in the draft, maybe Phillips and Richmond late.

Josh Malone was drafted in the 4th round after having really good stats as a jr.

50 catches 972 yards receiving 11 tds vs. Jennings 30 catches 438 yards receiving 3 tds so obtaining that grade may be tough

Some felt Malone went a year to early so if Jennings really wants to be drafted he may be better suited coming back for another year to continue to polish some areas that he already excels in. I say that because his game is very similar to that of an Alshon Jeffrey. Both big bodied and won't wow you with speed but with the ability to play the ball at a high rate down field and catching tough passes over the middle may give him a chance. Jeffrey did leave USCe after his jr. season but he had a sophomore season where he posted like 1,500 yards receiving. I like Jennings game and def. believe if put in the right situation he could be of benefit to a team in the league. But without the numbers atp in his career his best chance of making a roster may come as an Undrafted FA vs a draft pick. Coming back for his Sr. year may be in his best interest to improve his overall draft grade better positioning him to be drafted

Not really. A Johnson and Callaway have better chances.

Forgot Callaway did not get a redshirt year. He would be a lot better off coming back next year though - as would JJ IMO.

A Johnson will probably play on Sundays but not sure he gets picked in the draft.

I honestly don't think JJ has enough of a portfolio to test the draft waters. He needs to come back and have a good year, 100% healthy, and show what he can actually do. He played hurt the majority of the year.

If he is basing this on the QB play of JG and the OL he would be best to go pro if there is a chance at all he gets drafted. I wouldn't base raising my stock next year on JG 's ability to get me the ball.
Dear God. Yeah, a guy that has an excellent completion % and a 4 to 1 td to int ratio, he’s never getting the ball playing with that guy. Lol. Stop with the boring, lazy ass take, it’s both wrong and played.

Truth is, JJ has to come back unless he’s prepping for UT’s pro day so he can hopefully be an undrafted free agent. He’s tough as hell, has really good hands and makes plays for first downs.

But he’s a 4.75-4.8 guy who can’t stertch a defense and get separation. Those guys don’t get drafted, so he won’t.

Come back to Tennessee, have a good strong, productive year and let’s see how he can improve his reputation as a guy and player so he can get on a practice squad or make an nfl roster as a special teams guy.

Agree. He’s a good, solid, tough as hell college receiver. If he’s gonna have ANY shot at playing in the NFL, he needs to have a great, productive senior season...and even then I just don’t see him getting drafted. I can see him making a practice squad or potentially a roster, but it’ll be as a UDFA imho.

Or beef up if he can and become a TE at the next level. Needs about 20 lbs imo. Then he is basically the same size as Trey Burton.

Declared what? Jennings and his 4.8 40 ain’t getting drafted into the league, no way. Plays hard, plays with ferocity and passion, but he ain’t getting drafted. He might make a roster as an UDFA because he can play special teams.

Anquan Boldin and Jerry Rice were both clocked at 4.71 and did ok.

NFL GM: Mr Jennings, can you please explain why you quit on your team and school in 2017?

JJ: Coach did not do what I wanted him to.

NFL GM: Thanks for your time.

The End

Well this is just dumb. He wanted to play and got kicked off not sure how that turned into quitting on his team
