Has Jennings declared yet?

Link to 4.8 40 time?

All I remember is him burning Tabor and any other sec cb that lines up against him one on one.

LOL, I love JJ. But, Tabor fell down once and got juked the other time. It wasn't due to speed. I didn't see him wide open due to burning anyone all year!!!

Did you say Richmond? As in the linemen who constantly got pushed around by DBs? If he gets drafted it’ll be by the American government.

Yes I did, the league is as desperate for tackles as they are for QBs. He's a project I know, but its not out of the realm.

I've stopped watching the NFL, but unless there is a new position designed to get your own QB killed, Richmond better sit this one out.

Can we maybe go back and untangle which responses are about JJ and which about Richmond?

Even for VN, this is a pretty bipolar thread.

If Jennings is too slow for receiver, any chance he comes back next year and they move him to tight end. He would not be a slow tight end. He is already listed at 221 so a few more pounds and he would be a decent size tight end. He is already a good blocker. His position might be tight end in the NFL if he were to make it. He and DWA would make a couple of really good tight ends.

It's great for us that Volnation has only had to read 83 posts by you due to your knowledge of football. Anyone that thinks a slow receiver is going to be successful because he can block and is tough, is obviously clueless. Speed does matter a great deal in all sports!!!
Well...let’s make it 84 then shall we.

Yeah i don't think he gets drafted. Two new leagues coming so he may end up in one of those.

LOL None of you people actually know how fast or slow he is. I guess you timed him from his couch too, or is this another Volnation Eyeball Test?
I never said I knew how fast JJ was. I am just saying I haven't seen him burn hardly any dbs, especially Tabor. If you can prove otherwise, post your facts, otherwise, keep your piehole shut!

He should. Malone declared when Dobbs left. Next season will be worse than next season and rather than being a 5th rounder in 2018, he could fall completely off the board like A Foster did when he returned for senior season
Jennings needs to declare

I never said he was a burner, but your eye test isn't necessarly accurate, and none of you bozos actually knows what his 40 time is... as if that matters.

It doesn't have to be speed. It's called route running. He fell down for a reason

My reply was toward a poster who said JJ BURNED TABOR multiple times. Get your facts straight before you run off at the mouth. I didn't say JJ couldn't run routes or wasn't a good receiver. I said he isn't a burner. HE ISN'T!!!

Declared what? Jennings and his 4.8 40 ain’t getting drafted into the league, no way. Plays hard, plays with ferocity and passion, but he ain’t getting drafted. He might make a roster as an UDFA because he can play special teams.

Nobody else from this senior class is getting drafted either. Tuttle maybe, maybe in the 6th or 7th round. Neither Phillips nor Richmond have a prayer getting drafted. Udfa at best.

Lately, we will likely make mistakes by assessing a players NFL value. This is not the NFL of 10 years ago
Bell A Cheat used short, slow players in the slot ans does well
Also Danny Woodhead is too slow and too short to be a tailback in NFL and he came from a Division 28 college program but he has close to a 10 year NFL career
Remember small center from Pitt. Stepnoski? He play many years for Dallas & Titans. Too small
YOU CAN EITHER BALL OR YOU CAN'T BALL. Bottomline

I don’t know if he can get drafted or not. I do know I’m glad he’s a Vol and hope he comes back. He can be a really good receiver for us.
