Regardless of who starts at QB establishing the run is a MUST. So IF HB plays a lot please understand that is the game plan. I think you’ll see EG and JS get most of the carries. I personally think IF HB plays a lot running the ball a lot will be great for him. I’m confident whatever happens negativism will still be off the charts! The most loved and quickest most hated player on any team is the backup QB.

Geeze Pruitt sure has brainwashed you. Here’s the thing...it’s very difficult for us to establish the run because teams don’t respect our passing game (rightfully so). That means they’re just going to absolutely load e hell out of the box.
We shouldn’t go into the game saying our no1 priority is to establish the run. We should have a goal of moving the ball effectively every time we have it. You’re not going to do that if we sell out to establish the run. We’ve done that all year and look at the results. It’s ridiculously dumb. We need to take what the defense gives us. I’d argue that for us to be effective in the game it’d be way more import for us to establish the pass

Tough to establish the run when there is no treat of a consistent passing game and they can stack the box, this isn’t 1990 and we don’t have the defense to grind out a game.
