I'm feeling good about this but we that could be the NyQuil Vicks vapor rub talking
And we have coonskin caps, not mulletsIt's all about selling points to him.
"Coach, we want you in Tennessee. Here's a significant raise, a new car/truck for recruiting and you can run the offense without any interference from anyone..."
"And did we mention we have way bigger sidelines than Stillwater?"
I think we get him for one year and one year only. If he comes in here and even gets 7-8 wins, but has the same high octane offense I see at OKST, he's as good as gone to a HC position.
If it were Yurcich, and I suspect there's a good chance it's not, he would be a reasonably good hire. Here are Yurcich's offensive efficiency ratings over the past few seasons:
2013: 26th
2014: 60th
2015: 21st
2016: 14th
2017: 2nd
2018: 14th
Basically, he's been very good every year except 2014. His last 3 seasons have been his best. And Oklahoma State's defense has been up and down, which explains their struggles. This year, their defensive efficiency was 80th. Last year it was 42nd, so the drop from 10-3 to 6-6 has a lot more to do with their D than Yurcich.
Especially the regulars in the "Recruiting Forum Football Talk" thread. All those clowns do is believe rumors and complain about everything. If it turns out to be him, I know a bunch of people gone be mad it ain't Friend. Lol.
Most are idiots except 4 or 5 of them.Especially the regulars in the "Recruiting Forum Football Talk" thread. All those clowns do is believe rumors and complain about everything.
I am not sure what to think if it is him. Is that Mike Gundy's offense or his? Is he handicapped by Mike Gundy or does Mike Gundy make him look better as a play caller?
