Yup. Colquitt was the starter at UCLA but got hurt in the first series. Sad, as the guy had waited for his chance. I remember Helton and Stewart starting before Manning. When they benched Stewart, his dad went public with his complaint that it was because of Manning name.

Colquit was a talented 5th year player unlike JG. That is the no. 1 reason Peyton or the other freshman did not start the 1st game.
