Nice addition to the room. Will probably pair with Campbell in the third rotation.
After Hobbs, Moi, and Eason, there will be a battle for the 4th, 5th, and 6th DT spot between Jamal Wallace, Nathan Robinson, Josh Schell, and the freshmen. Don't assume that Campbell will be ahead of Utley. Price says Garner LOVES Utley, in spite of him being smaller than Campbell.

I think when Wallace is healthy, he'll be the 4th guy. Have a feeling he's gonna be pretty good.

Yeah Wallace is short, but looks really athletic. Def see him as a surprise candidate!

I swear, it is ONLY because he was at a small school. No such thing as guys from smaller schools being good! Never happened in the history of college sports!
Yeah Jared Verse never would've played D1 or got drafted. (Blue font)

You're exactly right. Nevermind that this kid had 20 D1 offers out of high school but went to West Point. Left Army and went to GVSU.

I can't tell but one picture looks like he might've also played baseball at GVSU.

It also looks like his body has massively changed since high school. I had a friend pre-transfer portal who was an OL and also baby faced out of high school. Was a high 2* recruit but just wasn't physically ready. Ended up at Bethel, grew 3 inches and got up to 330 while putting on a ton of muscle. Was a grown man by the time he graduated. I believe if he'd had the transfer portal by his Jr/Sr year he'd have ended up D1.

He looks way overpowered in his GVSU highlights and Garner is pretty much never wrong. All I needed to see and then recognize!

I believe Utley plays more the Tyree West role, based off current size.

I think Utley and Campbell will both letter as freshman. Wallace is an older guy but I don't know how much head banging he's done in the trenches.

I think 4 or 5 will be Utley and Campbell with Schell coming on later and into next year

I remember a comment Garner made last year that Wallace could’ve helped them, but they had so many dudes, they didn’t need him so they redshirted him.

Yea Wallace is the new Eason project for Coach Garner. Coach seems to love those type of athletic tackles that played on the second level prior to Tennessee.

We’ll need him for sure.

2026
Sr Hobbs/ So Utley / Sr Schell
So Campbell or Sr Wallace, RS Fr Dye

I think Dye will be a DT we’ll see, but Wallace will be needed for sure.

I’m hoping Hobbs has a NFL decision to make after this year. He has the talent to be the top tackle in the SEC, which means the nation in most seasons.

Jackson Robinson should be in that mix. Maybe Charles House. Agree on Dye.
