Someone do the math for us. Split his total years in half, and give us records for each half, championships, wins over top 20 teams, etc.
From 92 to 98 Phil went 67-11 a win percentage over that span of 85%.From the years 99 to 06 he won 70 and lost 30 a winning percentage of duh 70%.His overall with the 07 cal included it is 75%.Phil's numbers are not the issue they are very good overall. The landscape in college football has changed. There is more wide spread talent. It comes down to coaching more times than not now days.

exactly. everybody is getting talent now and they act like TN is still the only ones with so called talent. The staff is still running a scheme to fit that and as long as they keep the same o same o and coach in the past, TN will fall off big time. You got to change with the times 2. when will they see that?

lets not forget his bismil bowl record and the fact that hes talent laden year after year and what does he do? cant beat teams hes susposed to be beating on a regular basis. dont get me wrong i bleed orange like verybody else and it gives me great pains to see tn beat by anybody but what bothers me the most is that teams that beats us we should be taking behind the woodshed and laying the wood to. fulmer has outlived his usefulness to tennessee and its about time we had a change. the basketball program has no trouble replacing coaches if they dont succeed but for some odd reason its like fulmer is untouchable. FULMER MUST GO

It used to be 81% before Mark Richt, Nick Saban and Tommy Tubberville were in the SEC. With the addition of Urban Meyer and the return of Spurrier, low 70s are only a few years away.

Over the last three years it's less than 66%.
