Gus Malzahn

Herman, Heupel, Leopold, or another great offensive coach with a track record of developing QBs.

I am more confident now that we hired a very good AD that he will go get us the best possible coach. Whomever he gets I am sure it will be a well thought out decision. I think he will make a good decision and think he will stand his ground when he does make a decision. If he does that I am willing to give it a chance. Look forward to hearing the rumors in the days ahead, hopefully though we will have a much swifter search than last time, I don't expect it to be fast as AD's but I expect a few weeks at the most. GBO!!!!

Kiffin is the answer. Steele DC, Chaney OC, Garner DL, Kiffin QB coach + HC. All star lineup. Of course, Kiffin would probably just use us for a raise at OM.

I’m just putting this here. It’s not thread worthy, but it’s kinda on topic.

1.8 million dollars. I can’t fathom what that looks like. For an AD, not a coach, an AD. We can’t bitch about players willingly accepting $10,000 hand shakes or NLI while paying out these kinds of salaries. I’m on the kids’ side on this one, it’s obscene.

Look at his offensive production the last couple years. Malzahn was on a big decline. Other coaches started catching up with his gimmicky offense.

White keep Malzahn out of Knoxville. I didn't like him when he was Auburn. I will hate him at Knoxville. Besides, Pruitt was able to beat him with less talent.

You realize the role of AD is very much like that of a CEO, in this case of a hundreds-of-millions earning 'company'. The least of the AD's job is hiring coaches. Why is $1.8M too much?
