Gun control debate (merged)

The NRA is horrible, I dropped my membership years ago but that still doesn't change the fact that this action by the NY AG is nothing but political.

You call it a fact, yet they are a non-profit rife with fraud. So, your "purely" seems exaggerated, a bit.

Yet, I'm not sure how this is supposed to hurt Trump.

Gee, wonder how the NRA got so heavily in debt? Wanna bet it had nothing to do with protecting 2A rights?

Of all the organizations in NY / NYC and she decides the NRA is the one that’s not above the law and needs to be brought to heel ? 😂

All things being equal, why not the NRA? Also, how is this supposed to hurt Trump, or whoever you theorize this is meant to damage?

Did I say anything about Trump?

The NRA is a national organization, it's not even based in NY so she shouldn't be involved.

I never said it would hurt Trump at all . I always question any liberal intentions / motives / agenda when they start talking about how this one organization isn’t above the law while being able to ignore others in a state like NY that’s known for corrupt organizations.

How is this political, then? Do you mean, that the NRA will being prevented from political donations? If they are 10 million in debt, I don't see that happening anyway.

Eh, whatever. I don't care, really.

The NRA is still a major player in state and national politics, it would be the same if the TN AG went after the UAW or AFL-CIO in an election year.

I imagine you will apply your same skepticism to Barr's upcoming antics.

You know after my two AR 15 fully semi automatic black assault rifles climbed out of the gun safe this morning and poured a cup of coffee for themselves we talked about this. This could be the catalyst that gets rid of LaPierre and his henchmen and refocuses the NRA and that would be a good thing.

And I can’t wait to read the lawsuit to see how a “corporation” committed fraud 😂

Even though I’m still an NRA member, I’ve became disenfranchised with them since their piss poor effort at the state level. Oliver North sounded the alarm on their spending issues but LaPierre won the power struggle. Maybe the NRA needs a good cleansing. I’ve put my $ and support behind the GOA and TFA as of late.
