The range where I normally shoot indoors is booking all of their classes and adding more. In Williamson County, the sheriff's department offers a handgun permit class and it's full. In TN, people can do an online class that does not involve a range test and get a permit for concealed-only carry. There may be a couple of places that enhanced permit holder can carry where a concealed-only permit holder cannot, although I'd have to check the laws to be sure. Also, you don't get the interstate reciprocity most places with the concealed-only permit. If someone bought a gun and wants to carry it but can't get into a class, do the online class for the concealed only and try to get some training wherever they can.

I think the commentator nailed it about the duty to retreat. TN, being stand your ground, this guy would probably skate here.

You just go online here in Virginia and take a 90 min course . Apply for the permit and BAM you have a CCW . I don’t believe there is a time limit on how long you have to be a resident of Virginia either . ( have to look but I think that’s right ) .

I dont see it like that at all. They drove away and then the guy re-engaged them for a second time. How did the people in the car re-engage?

Unless he broke her nose with the punch and she couldn’t see. Or the mask got Knocked over her eyes and again she could not see. He came at them again and they defended themselves.

They better have had a damn good reason for stopping and letting the guy close again or I think they’re in trouble.
