I can't speak to the constipation part but the rifle part is an ongoing demonization far beyond facts. For the 5 years spanning 2014-2018 (the latest I'm aware of) we get this:

The MOST rifle homicides was in 2017 with 390.
The LEAST with "knives or cutting instruments" was 2018 with 1,515
The LEAST with "blunt objects" was 2014 with 431
And finally the LEAST killed by "personal weapons" (meaning no weapons at all, punching/kicking/etc) was 2015 with 647

Let me add this:

If you eliminate all active shooters who were not NRA members...there have been zero active shooter incidents in the US.

Doubt if you'll see that stat on MSNBC.

If you weren’t aware, the 2A sanctuary movement has got some steam in Tennessee. Get involved in 2020. Our Rino Republicuck Guv will again be pushing red flag laws this year. I recently joined Gun Owners of America and Tennessee Firearms Association as they seem to be the most proactive 2A supporters in the state.
That East Tennessee 2A Sanctuary Movement? It's Spreading West.

He wants to ban private shooting ranges in buildings with large numbers of employees. This is so weirdly specific that it’s pretty obvious he is only targeting the NRA’s facility. This is why when the general public hears “common sense gun laws” they roll their eyes.

We all know the national MSM is going to frame these protests as a bunch of "White Nationalists" using the SPLC's definition of hate groups. My personal opinion is that the VA legislature and Guv Buckwheat are using the leftists popular Overton Window strategy and will back off a lot of their extreme proposals. After all, they have 4 years to creep their agenda along. I expect a recall effort if it's not already happened.
