Gun control debate (merged)

I really don't think our LEO, NG or regular military would stand for that kind of foreign incursion. OK, I don't think much of anyone would if it, in some bizzarro world, came down to blue helmet boots on the ground.

Even the base premise, using foreign troops to enforce laws the local LEO/NG wouldn't, just makes no sense at all.
Its asking for trouble. Foreign soldiers dont get to enforce US laws (or not laws) on US soil. (neither do US soldiers for much of anything).

I saw somewhere about a month ago that the governor in Virginia could look at using UN troops if the majority of the Va NG refused orders.

The Governor of Virginia can't look at much at all, based on where his head is currently located. But as for UN troops? No. Not going to happen.

Too many reasons why to enumerate here, so just "no". Add this to your list of things to never lose another breath thinking about.

Biggest reason there will be no UN troops in VA is because the UN has no troops.

Would anyone be opposed to the citizens of VA arresting the governor? I wonder if some will attempt it if people have their guns taken.

Okay, gotta go cook dinner. Bacon-seared scallops; lump crab cakes; roasted potatoes.

And Yeungling. Ice-cold.

Assuming I can fight off the food coma, I'll be back later for more mental gymnastics.

Go Vols.

What time should I be there?

No way the POTUS or SCOTUS allows it to get to that point. If it does there's thousands of people planning on showing up to VA.
