Gun control debate (merged)

The Right has pretty much killed the constitution. Moscow Mitch evidently believes it is merely book of suggestions.

(Let me save you the trouble of posting: But....but....Obama.)
I wont disagree too much. They are all guilty. I am sure I have said this before but I will say it again. I got my gun because of Trump. And not out of celebration.

The times they are a-changin'

That was an effective ad campaign:

I noted the stark contrast between discouraging "open carry" (which the vast majority of carriers don't do anyway) and actually carrying at all. For instance I've maybe twice seen an OC in my local Krogers. I'm 100% certain there have been LOTS more CC there.

And then he brought one through a private sale because that did not require a background check. Doesn't that support more regulations?

Lol no it means you can’t stop even crazy people from doing something by adding more regs to people that follow the rules . The article says “ possibly from a private sale “ . How many firearms are in the US?

Ah, the oldie but goodie "if X law doesn't work perfectly in preventing Y, then why have it at all" argument.

Should we have laws against murder, given that murders still occur?

Wal-Mart and Kroger have done nothing but announce to evil people, "come here and shoot innocent people because we ban people from being able to defend themselves"

It’s not as if you can’t throw a gun away if you commit a crime with it. Registration does nothing to deter crime.

Well, we would have to have universal registration before UBGCs could even be a viable possibility. Then we'd have to have people actually go register their guns. LOL

I love talking to non gun owners about how they think things actually work in the real world after they get through listen to MSNBC and CNN telling them how things work . It’s amusing.

They're clamoring for laws when they don't even know what is and against the law to begin with.

Lot of misinformation from the MSM.

Not work perfectly .. “ Didn’t work at all “ he was declared mentally incapable of having a firearm , he failed a background check because of it and still killed people. We have been telling you highly educated gun grabbers this , you just think you know better .
