i look at this way.......Tebow did what he did in an unconvential method from what we've see from qb's in the past. it's different. it's attention getting.
Everyone's seen RB's put up big numbers. Everyone's seen QB's throw for big yards and 30+ td's.
not everyone's seen a guy throw for 250 a game, run for 100 a game, or thereabouts, and total 50+ TD's running and passing. and they've defintely not seen it in the SEC.
plus it's FL. the marquee team in the league. they have the spotlight now, even in a year where they didn't play for the title.
even in the 3 losses they had no one ever came out of watching FL play and lose saying they sucked.
in the present day, FL has put themselves on the same shelf as Mich, OSU, USC etc...as it relates to star power and attention. they have had the coaches, seasons, players and games over the last 15 years or so to warrant the media attention they get. And Tebow is a polarizing character for fans.
in my view of hte heisman being a beauty pagent at best, he and FL meet all the requirements.
