Thanks Lex. All our Cat friends are hyped about the possibilities of this year. I've already heard some cat calls. "Streaks end this year." Hey, the law of averages is on your side. It is amazing to me how much trash can come out of a mouth. I had one tell me last week that on the basketball side of things no SEC team was within twenty points of the Cally Cats this year. Wow, they can dream.... just like Saturday.... they can dream.
I don't think it is a good match up for the Cats this week...I really don't. I just wish we could play the game before Thanksgiving with the in laws. I might have to take an earful on Thursday...
For the most part, I think the officials do a good job but on that last Vandy drive it's like they wanted it to go into overtime. Maybe some fans at Beef O'brady had a lot of beer and chicken wings to comsume and they notified the officials to send it into overtime.
The interference call on Anderson in the end zone was bull. The TV crew ran the play 3 times and could not see any interference.
I hear ya. My wife's family is true blue, and it has even invaded my side. I have a cousin who lives in Nicholasville; he is a UT grad and all-vol. I suspect his children, though, of being closet Wildcats.
Cotton - I live in Nicholasville too. Although I am a UK grad, I'm all Vol. I come from a long line of UT fans and have been one since birth. Even in college I proudly wore my Orange and White. I went to UK more as a product of circumstances than actual choice. Even though my degree says University of Kentucky, my blood always has and always will bleed Orange.
I feel you pain, though. My wifes family is all Wildcat. Every year since we've been together I've had to hear the yearly "this is our year". I actually dread the year when it actually happens. Hopefully not this year, though.
Go Vols!!
