Joey should be saying thanks every day and multiple times on Saturdays. That UCLA team is bad all over the field.

Nico’s move made no sense when it happened and it looks worse and worse every week. From a playoff team playing in packed SEC stadiums every week…to a dumpster fire that can’t draw 15k. Mind boggling!
His dad is thankful

"We don't have any problems with Nico, if anything, it's thank you. Joey is in a great spot. That's what I would say, thank you. He did what he decided to do. Everything that happened, happened. I think it's clear who won the trade. Look at the fans and the stats. Everything happens for a reason. We're not at Tennessee without Nico making the decisions he made."

thats right, good ole Nico Imahugedouchewaffle.

getting crushed and just walked off the field in shame with a towel over his head like one of Michael Jackson's children.

it never gets old.

I actually feel sorry for him. I'd never pull for a kid to fail, especially one that has a controlling, psycho Dad. I'm glad he's gone, but I'm not wishing bad on him. Being an adult, I wouldn't do that. Karma is paying him back. I've got better things to do than with bad things on a 20-22 year old.

As a fellow and proud alum, think about that post. Did you play football at UT? I did not.

But, at age 58, I can tell you that there is usually a whole lot more to the story than the story I hear.

The villain here is Nico’s dad. It’s not Nico.
Do kids have to re-sign scholarship papers yearly and do their parents have to sign off on them? Since they’re year to year it’s possible they do have to “re-sign” but at 20-21 do your parents have to sign off too? Point is, Nico could’ve told his dad to back down and that he wasn’t leaving and he didn’t. Nico didn’t have to travel to the UCLA-UO game last year on a bye week and subsequently those were 2 if not the only 2 he and or his camp reached out to. Big Nick has had a huge hand in ruining his kids career and reputation due to his own greed and blindness but Nico isn’t innocent either.

Nico has a brain. Give him credit for his actions.

I feel no animosity towards Nico. It's over and done with. I've moved on. And as more of the story came out, it was his father, not he, that tried to extort even more money out of UT. And like my older brother said, Nico came from a culture where you damn well better listen to and go along with your parents. And it turned out that we benefitted from the trade with Nico going to UCLA and Joey Aguilar coming to Knoxville. It paid dividends. Be happy about that. And quit with worrying about or trying to throw shade at Nico Iamaleava. He's a part of our past and isn't one of us anymore.
Not him .... please

Some of you act like the guy obsessing over an ex-girlfriend while trying to convince all your friends that you’ve moved on.
No one’s obsessing. Just enjoying his failures when they happen.

It’s kind of like seeing the girlfriend that cheated on you in high school at the local dollar general when you needed milk but couldn’t stomach going to Walmart to get it. You witness her with 4 kids on her hip, brandishing that American flag EBT card for a cart full of little Debbie’s, and hopping into her 1989 Toyota Tercel that she can hardly fit in.

You are definitely over her, but still can’t help but giggle at her decisions and what they led to on your drive home.

It took opposing DCs 2 weeks to figure out the Neuheisel offense. And the fact Nico Can’t beat you throwing the ball.

Nico always thought he was better than us. You could see it in his demeanor during the Vol Walk. He wouldn't interact or even look at the fans. I have zero sympathy for him and love that he is failing. I won't apologize for it either. He made his bed, let him lie in it.
He can lie in it, after he s..ts in it.

I don’t call out players but i’m a lot closer to changing my mind in today’s world of College football.
Players making more than a lot of men and women who’s worked and paid taxes for 30 years wont get much sympathy from me anymore.
