Highly doubt this is in relation to Gruden, but Houston Kress just tweeted this "There have also been rumors of a potentially “big” story coming to light.

That’s truly about all I’ve got on it at this point." Went on to say he was told it may involve Butch and that he'd know it when he sees it. Anyone know what he's referring to??

No but something is happening. Whether it’s another player fight or big coach change or all of the above smoke is beginning to get thicker

Saw this too. Doesn’t look like he even knows what it is right now though.

Finebaum: The thing about Jon Gruden though, he's been out of it a while. I think he still loves the game. I've relayed a couple of stories lately about him. People say, 'why would he give up Monday Night Football.' Well, he's been doing it what - seven or eight years? He's making a lot of money, but coaches like to coach. Sitting in a booth, talking about other players... he's a young guy. If he doesn't coach now, he's never going to coach. That's what I think.

I'm very surprised that Finebaum would put this on the air. We can debate whether he is an idiot or not, but he needs to maintain at least some factual credibility to do his show.

So, if UT hires somebody other than Gruden (which is the most likely outcome), Finebaum looks like a (bigger) schmuck.

I suspect it bumped his ratings up in the last hour today. Even those that hate him prolly tuned in. And bet they will stay a little elevated until such time that this is over. Never underestimate the value of being all smokescreeny. Pawl says...at least I'm a rich schmuck.
