Greg Mcilroy says Tennessee & Florida....

Mcilroy does his homework. I might catch hell for this considering he's a bammer, but he's the best the SEC network has. Can't stand booger and Tebow annoys the s*** outta me with the way he flails his arms constantly when he's trying to explain things.

I find it hard to get past the lisp..

McElroy is the only good thing the SEC Network has going for it right now. He is a star in the making imo. Stinchcomb is okay too but the rest are a whole lot of meh.

You're correct. They need to go ahead and give McElroy a lifetime contract to stick around.

How dumb can ESPN be to have main anchor in Dari Nowkhah on the SEC Network? He's an OU grad that started out at a Montana TV station. I'm not a Finebaum fan, but at least he is an SEC guy.

SEC Network's main anchor has to be a guy that eats grits and knows the difference in sawmill and red eye gravy!

McElroy does an awesome job! He's objective, intelligent and best of all audible. I'd love to see him replace Desmond on Gameday which won't happen but he should be the front runner to replace Corso when he hangs it up IMO. He's by far the best the SEC network has and is already better than Pollack and Palmer. Pollack whines too much and lets his emotions get too involved. The dude has a future and I hope they keep him around as long as possible.

The poster who mentioned his passion for the conference is spot on. He never faced a "good" UT team but he clearly recognizes our place in history and is complementative of that. The way he speaks of all SEC schools regardless of history or present situations is refreshing. He loves this conference and it shows in his work.

McElroy has surprisingly been one of our biggest backers on the SEC Network. Yet, he talks great about every team it seems. I think he just wants to be liked by everybody.

Actually Tebow has been telling everyone to not underestimate this young Vol team all year. As much as it turns my stomach to hear it come out of his mouth at least someone is giving us a puncher's chance in games where we are underdogs.

These guys are paid to give objective opinions.

Sure, they wear their school colors under their shirts, but when they need to analyze the match ups, they do it.

Unless its David Pollack. I never ever give a rats arse what an "analyst" says but he is the most subjective analyst I've ever heard.

Most strive for professionalism.

Let's be honest... why would Tebow and Greg Mc hate Tennessee? We never caused them an ounce of grief during their careers.

The world is a nice, friendly place when you are winning.

I have been very impressed with Mcilroy. I agree he is the best on the SEC network. At the moment I can't think of anybody on ESPN that's been better this year. You can tell how much he truly loves the tradition and rivalries in this conference. Kudos to the big dogs that got him on the network. And I have to say Marcus Spears is starting to grow on me also.
I'm throwing up in my mouth a little bit while typing this but I agree. A Bammer is better than watching some axx clown from the Big 10 or a Golden Domer (thats not a sex act freak so calm down)
pontificate on all things SEC.

Every time Desmond starts to "analyze" on Gameday, I remember him getting the crud beat out of him by Oprah Winfrey on the Color Purple.

Typical VN. As soon as someone says something positive about UT they become the best analyst on ESPN, say something negative and they are scum.
