Greenland

The chairman of the "Board of Peace" also is not the U.S. President, it's Donald Trump personally (until he steps down or dies), which seems weird but hey

Anyone who doesn't see the "Board of Peace" for the absurdity it is has lost the plot so long ago there's no hope for recovery.

Just thought of something, wasn't an >100k payment to each Greenlander part of USA offer? If so, I can probably round up >50k Americans that would want that money, immigrate there, and then have us all vote to join USA. Problem solved. Pocket the money then come home 😆

That's why he asked for the one billion to join. Its a scam for him to make money.
Never met a grift he didn’t like. Just another embarrassment to add to the long list. Again I ask the question. Is it too much to just have a little bit of decorum befitting the office of the President of the United States? All I see is a 4 year Ponzi scheme.

How exactly are you getting 50k Americans to be able to live and have legal status in Greenland?

If there's any respect, its akin to that of a dog turd on the sideway and taking effort not to step in it.

Here's current status of countries accepting a "Board of Peace" invite, a real who's who.
  • Bahrain
  • Morocco
  • Argentina
  • Armenia
  • Azerbaijan
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Egypt
  • Hungary
  • Indonesia
  • Jordan
  • Kazakhstan
  • Kosovo
  • Mongolia
  • Pakistan
  • Paraguay
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Turkey
  • United Arab Emirates

Tell me, given that we already have a United Nations, what is the benefit of this board of peace other than fluffing trump's ego?
I cannot say as to the benefit of it, but holding up the UN as being effective at much of anything is a stretch.

That's reasonable and I didn't speak to the effectiveness of the UN. Similarly, I wouldn't expect trump to be able to create an alternative that's more effective. What does he offer to differentiate?

This entire situation has been embarrassing for Trump... I don't think you can spin it any other way.
.... and this was the low point of the "Greenland Saga" for Trump. His ego is always front and center, right next to his ignorance. Trump referenced not winning the Nobel Peace Prize he so desperately covets, among his reasons for considering military action in Greenland. He also blamed Norway for the Nobel snub ... even though the Norwegian government has no say in who receives the award.

Pathetic.

I've never debased myself by voting for a Democrat.....ever.
For an intelligent fellow like yourself, I find that characterization unintelligent. If you are a boomer like I think, that doesn't reflect well upon your reasoning ability to make such a definitive and disparaging statement. You certainly wouldn't be debasing yourself if you had voted for McWhorter or Bredesen for governor. Carter may have turned out to be a subpar President, but you shouldn't of have been ashamed to have voted for him. Voting for Clinton wouldn't have been shameful either, especially against Dole. Just a thought here on those selections.

they respect Trump, especially after what they saw happen in Venezuela. World leaders were eager to meet him at the new Peace Board. Trump is working a deal where he gets what he wanted out of Greenland without costing the US a cent and Denmark continues to spend hundreds of million per year on the welfare of the Greenlanders.

No one... NO ONE had respect for demented, crooked Joe Biden or idiot, narcissus Obama, The lefts attack on Trump are not logical or valid, just comical and lame
Do they really?

From the above article :

Former Canadian Minister of Defence and Premier of Alberta Jason Kenney reacted to the post saying, "In the same week as his humiliating climb down on Greenland, he confused Iceland and Greenland multiple times, and now his staff is confusing Antarctica with Greenland (penguins inhabit the former, not the latter.) The most powerful nation on Earth being run like a clown show."
