Good. US needs to get out of all these organizations. I think it was George Washington who warned the US should never be involved in organizations as the UN et al for those organizations will not be concerned about what is in the best interest of the US...as Trump is.True. It doesn't appear right now anyone is interested, in the meantime he is destroying any type of trust with basically anyone for future arrangements anywhere.

The quote, "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world," comes from George Washington's Farewell Address, first published in September 1796 [1].I guess he had a problem with the ratification of the U.S. Constitution then.

Your assumption that he had a problem with the ratification of the U.S. Constitution is incorrect. Washington fully supported the Constitution; in fact, he presided over the Constitutional Convention as its president and was subsequently elected as the first President of the United States under that very Constitution [1].
The Farewell Address was issued after the Constitution had been ratified and while he was completing his second term as president. His statement was not about domestic policy or the Constitution itself, but rather a piece of foreign policy advice to the young nation, urging future leaders to avoid entanglement in perpetual military alliances that could drag the U.S. into foreign wars [1]. This concept became a cornerstone of early American foreign policy known as isolationism or non-interventionism [1]. AI
I think the average Greenlander would rather be part of the US
Taking away the cash, would a referendum settle it? My guess is 3/4 AND passing in the Danish parliament. Similar to Oregon people wanting to join with Idaho. There are over $1t of known oil reserves...that does not include gas and minerals or fishing. It's 25% bigger than alaska.
Right now, but what about in the future? We see how much influence they have in South America or trying to.
