Europe was already in the very slow process of collapse, between the war with Russia and undermining Trump via russia gate and nato trying to protect themselves against a trump victory last year = they're screwed.

you know why people are choosing China? its because they aren't seen as imperialist invaders who stick their military in other people's business.

yes, we are really seen as that bad, where we make China the preferential candidate on too much of the world's stage. but instead of making ourselves more desirable, our only response is to double down on what makes us unpopular. we are just creating the next issue.

I wish Republicans in Congress would realize that if they don’t stand up to him now, they’re just going to have to back increasingly inane and harmful **** until he kicks the bucket.

Which is dumb because their game is propping up dictators to rob your resources. If you try to argue China is somehow better than the US in terms of fairness or policy, then you are not a serious person.

Republicans in Congress, like Republicans not in Congress, won't care until it affects them directly.

That's the classic hallmark of "conservative" thinking when it comes to legislative action.

When you give socialism an inch it’s over. They gravitate towards communist dictatorships.
