What we appear to be witnessing is the mad rush or control of the remaining world resources. China/India are buying it with the excess phony money and now the U.S. is using other means.

What was floated a few decades ago was a basket of resources would be the backing of any new currency, so the more assets you have would have a linkage between that and the currency.

Now, I am not saying all this is a great idea to just take it over absent a purchase but it does explain the "why".

So an ad hominem attack.

I'm not defending him per se, although I can understand that it appears that way. I'm defending against the lies and untruths being told. Good Lord, there is enough to criticize without resorting to lying or making up stuff about it.

He irritates the piss out of me at times. I did not vote for him in the primaries. Voted for him in the general election against Hillary, Biden was already down the road to senility and Harris was, well, a complete moran. Frankly, there is probably not a Democrat I would vote for at this point because they all appear to be insane progressives.

Yeah, the Democratic party has really F'ed up by trotting clowns out there for President. There are couple of decent moderate governors who would be much better, but I don't think they want any part of it. Both sides have screwed us fir sure

Let cast the first stone he who wouldn’t use the proceeds of their veteran’s charity fund to purchase portraits of themselves that weren’t selling for enough to sate their ego and to pay off the judgments of contractors that they had failed to compensate.

Anybody would do the same.

Trump is just like the rest of us.

Trump was set up by some very bad people giving all this money to his charity. If they hadn’t given that money, he couldn’t have spent it on himself. It was like a perjury trap, only with money.

Plus his accountants even repaid most of it before he got sued and repaid the rest after New York forced him to, so who was even actually harmed by this?

Plus, if there’s one thing all true Republicans can agree on it’s that we have never once cared about people abusing charitable foundations. Not even a little bitty bit.
