Greenland

Yeah. He wants to sue the DOJ for 200 mil. He quipped to a crowd of low IQ Magadytes he wants 1 billion.
I read the article completely. If I recall, he actually sued prior to the election and might be a tad more than the $200M. With regards to the quip about $1B, that seems to be more for people like you to consume and flip out about. I took as nothing more than normal Trump BS. It's not happening.

I don't have a problem with the suit. It seems in the article this is not an unknown thing to sue the government as a tort for egregious prosecution. I would personally blame the last administration for doing stupid crap that exposed the government to the liability.

With regards to the ad hominem attach at the end of your post, would it be considered low IQ or was it deliberate omission on your part to leave out he said his plan is to donate any recovery to charity? (Yes, he made a joke about maybe he should keep it, but I doubt he would.)

He made 3 billion last year. Mainly from using tarriff threats to game the market.
Hmmm. I'd like to see the whole article. The TDS crowd on here has an uncanny disability when it comes to discerning and relaying the truth about anything related to Trump. So yeah, I don't believe your assertion it was mainly from tariff threats.

If we're talking about how smart someone is and you play up the fact that they know their multiplication tables, then yes it suggests you think that fact is meaningful and/or relevant
I don't think you're following the conversation very well. Here you go:

you can argue with this.

It wasn't from speaking engagements lol

Bless your heart if you think Trump is donating anything to charity. You probably think the ballroom isn't taxpayer funded too..

Wait, which side has the disability? Hard to see that given the amount of slop posted here daily by the maga Uber alles crowd

The reason why Greenland is being sought most likely goes beyond what has already been disclosed.

> natural gas, uranium, oil, and other metals
> access to the arctic (ice shipping lane)
> most likely one of the European countries will take it by force anyway
> restricts access or the ability of other countries to use or take it
> it is 25% bigger than Alaska

What was floated a few decades ago was a basket of resources would be the backing of any new currency, so the more assets you have would have a linkage between that and the currency.

Now, I am not saying all this is a great idea to just take it over absent a purchase but it does explain the "why".

^^^ He's right, you know.^^^

and some other country is going to Annex greenland knowing that the US has at least one base there and can build more?

Maybe, but isn't that their choice? I mean, I do explain the "why" above. Why can't someone build a base there?

I mean at least Trump is being transparent about what American foreign policy has been doing over the last 50-60 years, but not sure it makes it better.

Trump was forced to shut down his foundation for stealing from it. That happened during his first term as POTUS

by this logic we should just annex Russia since they are the threat and annexing places just fixes security problems that aren't really security problems.

Oh, no doubt there is some. But I daresay the percentage of the leftists vs. the conservatives posting slop is heavily slanted in favor of the left. Although, I will grant you, those on the right that do are prodigious in their efforts.

That is where everyone appears to be going with this - at war with everyone. (we'll see how it goes)

We're most likely rapidly running to global reset.

or we could just not try to annex Greenland and stop the whole mess.

this is more of the government creating the problem just so they can fix the problem, and the whole time things just get worse for the average citizen.

I can't believe this needs to be explained but:

1. The US is not going to attack Denmark.
2. The bluster from Trump is to give encouragement to Greenlanders for a vote of independence, and a warning to Denmark not to ignore the results of such a vote.
3. Once the vote for independence happens, Greenland will need an alternative means of economic support because the economy is not self-sustaining.
4. Then they will enter into something like a "compact of free association" with the US that will involve economic support and strategic cooperation.
5. Denmark knows this, and their bellicosity is designed to discourage the Greenlanders from voting for self-determination.
6. Most other informed people also know this, and are spouting off in bad faith.

Its a tough one because of the distortions of the financial system. This now allows say China to just buy up all assets. Everyone wants their cake and eat it too.

Reset solves the problem, although your problems are only beginning at that point. Many billions will have to go.

If I recall, wasn't that in New York? It was not for "stealing" as you termed it, but a there was plenty of self-dealing and some technical legalities that led to the shutdown.
