Good. Dude wanted out and took it. Find someone that likes being here.

Exactly, Eddie is a good coach and great recruiter, but I believe he just didn't mesh with the rest of the staff. It took Kiffin 3 interviews and several weeks to offer Gran the job in the first place. We might take some short term recruiting hits, but will find a very good replacement.

Yep, Gran is the only coach in the nation that could possibly recruit South Florida. The program is heading into the crapper folks.

Not saying that for the future but recruiting is based on relationships and I know how the kids here in South Florida react. It is hard enough getting them to leave the state and not go to the big 3 of FSU, UF and UM plus South Florida and Central Florida U is building good programs also. I'm just saying this far in the recruiting process and now the coach who recruiting them is leaving, they will probably leave also but we CAN GET THEM FOR THE FUTURE!

We will lose 4-6 recruits now and will probably not have a top 10 class. Hamilton failed us on this one IMO.

Ok, Hamilton did not fail us, we had the money to pay him, we choose to let him go. I don't think Hamilton or Kiffin would have let him go if they didn't have a replacement in mind and/or ready to go. We get his contract money back, and Wilson's too.

So calm down, we are going to be ok!

No problem with the staff deciding they can afford to let him go, but lock up Palardy.

At this time last year, we didn't even have a staff to recruit and our class turned out to be pretty good.

This is true but you can't just look at last year as an indicator of future success.

This staff will more than hold their own in the world of recruiting, but without Gran/Wilson it won't be easy.

Who knows if we have any kids who flip because of this, will be very interesting.

gran never impressed me as a coach, if anythiung out special teams regressed. We can replace the recruiting end.

He never liked it here. But, I have to give him some credit. He never let it affect his job performance.

I tend to agree.....he will do well where ever he goes....he is a good man from what I know and wish him the very best....this one hurts a lot more than wilson...who is next to go?....

When lane was hired he had about two months until signing day? He got a good class. The chicken little stuff needs to stop.
