Forgot to tell everyone (especially Kat), on my flight from Nashville to San Antonio I sat about 5 rows in front of Jason Aldean. I'm guessing he's touring with George Strait.

We actually went to her house. I just wanted to see it out of pure curiosity. Hubs parked and got out. Jerk. Ended up talkeing with the mom for a while. Boo Boo was playing in the front yard and paparazzi were hiding in the bushes.

In backwoods, rural Ga. Weirdest thing I've ever seen. well, close to the weirdest.

last I knew it was Aldean, Luke Bryan, and some chick. (I will remember her name later.) edit: other chick is Rachel Farley.....I believe she is also from vGiGs neck of the woods.

George is on tour with Martina McBride.

3 of my neighbors have a total of 5 daughters ranging from 8-12. They are constantly singing songs by Taylor, Little Big Town, Carrie, The Band Perry etc (New Country). To me, and their parents, it's better than some of the real "Crap" they could be listening to. If you don't get that...."Beech imma gonna slap dat ass an make yo sux my......." .

I don't understand the Taylor hate. She is now what, 23? I have a lot of respect for her and what she is doing. Is she a favorite? No. But I don't hate her. Why ya'll gotta be so mean? Haha.

My Taylor hate revolves around a couple things
1) she literally cannot sing. She relies on AutoTune to get her close to pitch. She cannot do it on her own. Did you hear her duet on Riannon?

2) She is 23?? and still singing about high school. Still singing about kid stuff, because kids are her audience.

3) see 1 again. She cannot sing, and all of her songs sound the same, except NEver ever ever, gonna get back togetherrrrrrrrrrrrrr...which is somehow worse than all that came before.

I actually liked the first few tunes she released. They were fiesty, and a little different. She wasnt whining. I freaking hate whiney chicks. And she is their queen.

If she took her ass over to Disney Channel, and stayed there, it would be a perfect fit.

Taylors new album is ZERO percent country. She should just quit pretending, and go right to pop where she belongs.

I don't think Aldean is hot based upon looks. I was at lowes last night for about 10 minutes and saw 4 guys hotter than him, but he's just got it somehow.

It is not just an opinion. If you have to use AutoTune (and she does) it is because you cannot hold pitch. This is a technical, singing issue. Not an opinion. Im sorry if I insulted your girl.

It is a song by Fleetwood Mac. She did a duet on the Grammys with Stevie Nicks and it is widely considered to be the worst duet ever. You could see the horror on Stevies face as it was happening. It was terrible.

context. If she were singing on the disney channel, I would have no problem with it. But she is putting kid tunes/pop out as country music, and yes I am offended by it.

It is not a little problem. When you make your living singing, you should know how to sing. And no she is not the only one, but that doesnt change the fact that she cant sing.

I was seriously just asking questions being curious and thought it was a fun debate, until daddy Tex busted my bubble.

She can't sing, her front teeth are f'ed up, she doesn't sing country and she needs to be throat punched. Shat, I hate her now. Haha.

gotcha. I actually thought she used to be hot, til she jacked with her hair (bangs appeal to the teen crowd) and that weird makeup.

But, for kids, she is great. It is harmless music. Harmless lyrics, except she is kind of teaching girls to be pathetic. But still, for the young crowd, she is ok. Disney missed out bigtime with this one.
