Good job Ainge (Merged)

Well I mean just to go back over my views on Ainge. I've said many times he's an Average at best quarterback, he is scared to get hit, he goes blank when any kind of pressure is present, and never attempts to step up and make something happen.

On the pass dropped by Moore on 4th and 4, he could have stepped up in the pocket and moon walked for the first down. I know if that pass was caught it's a first down but does he really not belive in his legs that much?

Well said. I agree 100%.

What a disappointment. To be that close to a touchdown and throw a freakin' interception? Come on. It is true that he wasn't alone in the loss; but he was alone in throwing the interception that cost them the game and he ALONE blew it for the Vols. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. This was his chance to step it up and bring home a SEC title and he couldn't even do that. Yeah he had a few good plays and almost had it but almost doesn't count. I will be glad to see him go. Let's hope Crompton can step it up.
Was it my imagination or could the CBS sportscasters have their heads any further up LSU's butts?

eff Ainge. eff his "legacy" and no more west coast QBs who could give a rats axx about UT football, them and their families. Ainge was bought and paid for by somebody somewhere in this year's SEC championship game. 1 pick is forgiveable, but not two and the way as well as when they ocurred. Ainge made somebody in Vegas or connected to Vegas along with his family or friends in Vegas rich. Call the FBI and have this investigated.

I am pissed so I am taking a bunch of my buddies to a bar get drunk, start a fight, and go to jail ! I will be back on after I post bail.

I hate just typing emotional stuff in the heat of the moment but I have never been able to stand Ainge and this just was the icing on the cake. It's just his whole attitude and play. I've yet to think he's just stuck his neck out there for the team ever. Plus, half the time he clearly misses the passes he looks around to pass blame to the refs, to his fellow players, to the coaches - to whoever besides himself. I honestly truly hope to God that we play anyone else in the bowl. At this point I could care less anyway because we are probably heading BACK to that God forsaken Georgia Dome for the hell that is the Peach Bowl again.

Please, please, please, please play anyone else but Ainge in the bowl. He's never won the big game and has constantly been a choke artist. He's "squeaked" wins out and rallied the team in some games but I've never seen him lead his team to a big win. He had the perfect chance tonight and single handedly lost it himself. I know he's a college kid and this is just a dang game but I never felt that he projected HEART in his play and I think that it's a dang shame.

Thanks Ainge.............at least you'll always be remembered as a choke artist and I'm not the only one who will have this opinion.

PERFECT !! EXACTLY !!

i am really heartbroken. this game was in the bag and ainge just gave it away. i am probably going to get banned for all the things in said tonight on here, but, IDGAF.

Ainge is the next David Carr - except that's giving him too much credit. He won't ever see the field in the NFL compared to Carr... but he will fold under pressure like Carr as he did tonight.

We aren't going to bench Ainge in the bowl game. Fulmer and Cutt would never do that to a player they like, and has a shot at being drafted in the NFL. I will say this, Ainge really REALLY hurt his draft status.

The hatred against Ainge is getting ridiculous. No, he didn't play well, but it isn't like he hates the school.

Well I guess the team that started his demise was the same team that finished him off.

Exactly the opposite of poestic justice, which is what any English majors in here?

you guys are missing the point. post in the threads where this is already being discussed. it just helps keep the board more organized

Yeah. Your right on that one. I remember that jackass we had back in the 90's that kept losing to florida. Boy was he a loser.:whatever:

Manning and "Wrong Angle" Ainge should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

Note: Sarcasm detected. No, there is a difference. PM guided this team to EXCEPTIONAL seasons time and time again. This year, Cal, Florida, Alabama, and now LSU with 2 picks is no anywhere close to PM. Sigh all you want, but it doesn't change anything.
