But I'm with OWB, you can't take up for him after that crap. It's over with the support.

But only a true idiot would say he lost it by himself or alone. That just shows how little you know about the game.

Nice personal attack. Idiots go for those too.

I hate just typing emotional stuff in the heat of the moment but I have never been able to stand Ainge and this just was the icing on the cake. It's just his whole attitude and play. I've yet to think he's just stuck his neck out there for the team ever. Plus, half the time he clearly misses the passes he looks around to pass blame to the refs, to his fellow players, to the coaches - to whoever besides himself. I honestly truly hope to God that we play anyone else in the bowl. At this point I could care less anyway because we are probably heading BACK to that God forsaken Georgia Dome for the hell that is the Peach Bowl again.

Please, please, please, please play anyone else but Ainge in the bowl. He's never won the big game and has constantly been a choke artist. He's "squeaked" wins out and rallied the team in some games but I've never seen him lead his team to a big win. He had the perfect chance tonight and single handedly lost it himself. I know he's a college kid and this is just a dang game but I never felt that he projected HEART in his play and I think that it's a dang shame.

Thanks Ainge.............at least you'll always be remembered as a choke artist and I'm not the only one who will have this opinion.

It's hard to have a good offense when the QB can't overcome the play calling and the play calling can't overcome the QB. Sprinkle in 1 yard per carry with the running game and I'm amazed we even had a chance in that game.

Who else can you blame? The defense played lights out for the amount of time they were on the field, Ainge made bonehead throw after bonehead throw.

I honestly think that everyone will miss Ainge next year. Our offense is going to be terrible.

I'm happy Ainge chose to be a Vol - and I had a few great memories with him at QB (ex. 04' UF) but that was just unacceptable. He single-handedly lost us the game. The guy is horrible on the run and even more horrible under even a small amount of pressure. He's not a winner.

Hefney was a huge disappointment in this game as well. Both seniors "leaders" played horrible.

How can a senior look and play so lost? Good riddance is right!

I'm surprised everyone is so surprised by his performance. He has good stats but he's made stupid decisions and bad throws all year long. If he would have had a running game tonight we would have won, but LSU's run D is just that good.

I was such a supporter of Ainge in his Freshman year.
His sophomore year was horrible.
Junior year was ok.
This year has been MEH! :ill_h4h: :realmad: :furious3:

I wish they had let Crompton pass some.

I think he still remembers being KO'd around a goal post in the post-Katrina matchup...he looked pensive most of the night and exploited like Enron controller.

If I didn't know any better I would have thought he had money on the game or was shaving points with those interceptions and missed open receivers.
