You do recall his other head coaching position, correct?

Yet, most NFL insiders say the Raiders were on the up swing. But, hey don't let that get in the way of an agenda. Tyrone Willingham must have been your god of coaching at ND.

lets say our new freshman qb goes down w/ a injury,we have nick and nick w/ out any game day exp.

we are already losing w/ jc and w/ continue the trend, shouldnt we be working on a differant plan ?

IMO - NS will be 3rd on next years depth chart.

Yea, that's true........ what does it matter if we lose with a senior or those other options. The point is, they would trying....

Given that Stephens and Coleman both suck more than Crompton does, we would lose more games by "trying" that genius strategy. That matters.

Umm Nick Stephens had plenty of game day experience last year and guess what....he rode the suck truck...

If our freshman QB gets injured, it won't matter because he will be backing up a JUCO. Stephens may not even be on the team next year, so playing him now wouldn't really help...

If Crompton can clear out his mental anxiety issues and get on the same page... or even the same book as our WRs he'll be a very good QB.

He's got a much better arm than Stephens. He doesn't help himself, but I'm adamant in stating that there has at least been improvement in his in-game judgment. The slow (not saying he's even on being a decent QB) but evident improvement is probably his only saving grace against replacement.

Plus, Crompton has much better pocket presents than Stephens has. Hopefully we'll adjust play-calling to bring our RBs into the passing game more.
Is this some kind of a joke - "he can be a very good"?

Did someone just say that Crompton can be a very good QB?

Thought that was due to the circumstances, (Raiders), but the thought is beginning to creep in. After WKU, I told everyone "We got us a coach"---so I have always given CLK the BOD--but this QB thing---------------

Prepare for the counter-attack from the opposition.

This is the best most article on the situation i have ever read. Crompton has won ONE game vs. a BCS opponent is 3 years (remember he started 2 games when Ainge got injured a few yrs back) - against Kentucky last year. We need some new mojo at the QB position. Even if it is just EB14 running some 'cat.

Perhaps you will respond:

1) Let’s say CLK makes the change and names NS the starter for the remainder of the year. Please explain to me why any top QB recruit would be afraid to compete with NS for the starting position next year?

2) CLK is recruiting top talent at every position. Yet he continues to play his best players at every position except, according to you, the QB. Please explain to me why QB’s are the only position afraid to compete against an incumbent?

Do you go from thread to thread, determine the majority opinion, then take the opposite; or are you really so far removed from the mainstream?

Majority position? This thing is probably 50-50 (handling of the qb sit)----and tilting more to the RIGHT with fervor.

yes, by all means lets but EB at the QB position, he is only on the field for 75 snaps, more staggering logic....

Got one for you---Please tell me why every position is up for grabs (according to LK) on Tuesday EXCEPT the QB? If JC were held to the same standards and punishment, Cromp would STILL be running laps. :eek:lol:

Yep.

We've got Bray, but I'm almost positive there's another guy in the fold. I think Cam Newton will be a Vol...but, even if it's not Cam, I'd say another qb will join the team with Bray next year.

I'm beginning to support the idea of benching Crompton...

Only to see how the pro-stephens crowd will respond when he's as bad, or worse, than #8.

So you have no answers. I did not think so. You know why? Because your assertions makes no sense. You just want to see change for change sake and will make up wild conspiracy theories to justify it.

He has the tools to be...just not the decision-making
so if i am 5'6 fat guy with no arm who runs a 5.6 40 time, but who is a great decision maker and can see the field does the mean

"I have the tools...just not the physical nature"

Don't mean to be jerk - i am just so frustrated with Kiffins refusing to make a QB change. The team is divided, down and beaten. Receivers have losing mentality given who their QB is. And the fact that Kiffin is sticking with him is sickening to me. We have the team to beat Georgia, USCe and Ole Miss - but if crompton starts we won't win those and we will finish 5-7. I think 5-7 is a step back from last yr.

EB won't, but some of the defensive players will give in to the dreaded apathy word. Happened in 05 when UT was going through the exact same deal. Great defense worn down from too many snaps--and again last year.

Hey Lane, how bout helping Daddy out?
