It was the day they hired Hamilton.. and he started his vendetta crusade against Fulmer.

Many around here don't agree.. But I still think we would have another SEC title or two if Fulmer was still the coach. I don't buy the complacency argument for one second.. just think he had a couple years of bad luck and was too loyal to his friends if you can call that a flaw.

And to those who don't agree.. we know already, no need to try and turn this into another CPF debate. I was just stating where I felt the downfall began.. relevant to the OP 's topic :hi:

That is true. I seem to remember that the team rallied around their coach, and played well the next week or two after Wyoming. It was similar to how the basketball team played when Cuonzo was under fire. The big question is why couldn't the coaches get that kind of play out of their teams beforehand.

I for one feel bad for all of the students that had to endure the era of absolute crap. Glad light is at the end of the tunnel.

Hard to believe how some just can't let some grudges go, move on.
