Go Vols, The Gator Chomp, Hook 'em Horns, War Eagle, Roll Tide.

Tell you what I love - at the basketball games since Pearl got there, they play this little jingle that must be some kind of "Jock Jams" tune, usually after a Vols run (or some Lofton treys), and all the students sing along "Whoah-oh-oh-oh..." and jump around. No words, just a catchy little music clip. Something like that. Anyone know what that is?

I think I know what you're talking about.
They play this at BBall Game, Hockey Games, etc...

When I pass a fellow Vol I simply say "Go Vols" and they usually say "Go Vols" back. Simple and to the point.

seems it originated with a European soccer club.

Yep. Definitely has the Euro Techno feel. Can't remember if I heard in at a Bayern soccer game I went to last year or on TV watching some of my Bundesliga games. But it definately gets the crowds going over there.

"The use of the track in sporting events was introduced by Belgian soccer club KAA Gent using it after scoring a goal, after that it caught on quick in all sorts of sporting events."

From Wikipedia, so take with a grain of salt.

Didn't go through all posts, but down here at Georgia Tech alums say to each other:

"What's the good word?"
response: "To Hell with Georgia!"

They won't admit it, but all other fans are jealous and wish they had a song as good as Rocky Top.
Rocky Top is great, but I like Michigan's fight song (my favorite by far), ND's fight song, and USC's fight song more. There are some other good ones I like.

If you have ever seen The Big Lebowski, Walter calls The Jesus a pederast because he exposed himself to an eight year old. Eight year olds dude.
