Hmmm....another Junior.

OCI, do you see these LB's we're offering as potential starters (which I doubt, at least not all of them) or just a means to shore-up depth (which I suspect).

what do you see as chances of getting Carson, Hodges or Mauti

did the coaches detect any real interest?

Does anyone else think this is dirty by going after them?

not at all - you are giving kids another shot at getting a full ride, an education, and a chance to compete for titles and bowl games - it is fairest things for the kids as they didn't have much to do with the penalties

now they get their chance to survey the landscape and see if they fit will with another team and scheme and can contribute right away and play for titles - i see no problem with it all

what! why in the hell would it be dirty?

the players have been given clearance by the NCAA to look around.

No. It is affording a kid a chance to leave the school if he so chooses. We don't know what kind of impact this whole situation has had on them. What would be wrong IMO would be making them stay if they didn't want to.

All we are doing is affording an oppurtunity. If they choose to stay where they are, it is their decision.

I understand it...but people have to understand, we're not looting Penn State, they were given permission by the NCAA to transfer anywhere they want...as were other FBS school's given permission to contact them.

If we weren't going after these players it would only be to our detriment.

No! It's dirty what happened at PSU and these young men deserve a chance. PSU has failed them miserably. NCAA is doing the right thing by letting them chose to get out without more damage done.
