Getting to 20?

Looking at the schedule ahead, I'm thinking we get only 4 to 7 more wins. If we get 7 more wins, we finish the regular season with 19 wins. Does that get us in the dance? Assuming our RPI is 35 to 40.

With 13 more regular season games left, 7 more wins is definitely not the ceiling for this team.

I'll admit Tyndall has worked a minor miracle to this point, but I wouldn't put a limit on them just yet. They are overachieving beyond my wildest dreams thus far. Hope it continues.

If we win 7-8 regular season games and 1 win in sec tournament we will be dancing in March. I think we can if we play better last 5 minutes and not get hurt.

If they can get to 19 regular season wins with no "bad" losses like in previous years then I think winning one game in the tournament gets them at least on the bubble. Get to 20 regular season wins and I think they are in. 20 regular season and 1 SEC tourney win and they are in easily.

They play lights out against the big dogs, but Cals' having a terrible time this season motivating them to show up for the teams they don't respect.
Don't think they'll put us on the big dog list.

Last time KY was at TBA they went home with a 30 pt beat down. That kinds worries me about how motivated KY will be.

Those are probably the two I would target also. Crazy to say @UF is one of the most likely road wins at this point. They have been playing poorly, but still have tons of talent on that roster.

The good thing about Florida is that it is late. If they have lost enough games, they may not care at that point. It is crazy to say it, but UF may have trouble getting 10-11 wins in conference. They still play Ole Miss twice, A&M twice, UK twice, at Alabama, and at LSU.

I agree with this. Last year Vols were 11-7 in SEC and 20-11 end of regular season.
At home most likely wins: MSU, Vandy and SC; most trouble: KY, LSU, TX A&M, AU
On road most likely wins: @Vandy and @ UF; most trouble: @LSU,@Ga, @Ole Miss

If Tennessee is 21-10 going into NCAA Tournament invitation time what do you think Tennessee's seed would be? I'm thinking it would probably be 7th or 8th seed.

Never count Donnie out. No one thought we would have the record we have now at the beginning of the year. Yes the schedule gets harder, but don't underestimate CDT.

I trust this team on the road. Vandy on the road may cause some problems. We can hit 20 wins but idk if that will be enough to get into the big dance.

If we get to 15 and 6 in the next four games picking up those last four wins to get in the tourney is going to be tough. I think we could get in with 18 wins if we could beat Kentucky at home. Definitely a long shot but they have had some close battles thus far it could happen.
Seven home games left and seven wins =NCAA Tourney. Six wins at home we need another road win and a tourney win. I think any RPI under 50 gets in our sos will be in the 40's regardless.

Not likely but not impossible, how crazy would it be if we rolled into the UK game with just 1 conference loss?

Home game for the conference title against number 1?? Yes please.

We would be 19-5 and probably ranked in the top 15 if it got to that point. Gameday might even show up.

I was thinking about the same thing when looked at the schedule! We would be ranked at that point and it would give us great national exposure

The stretch of UGA(away), Vandy(away), and LSU is going to be tough.

Btw, Kentucky is rolling into Knoxville.
