I remember those UT jackets that lady is wearing. Haven't seen one of those in a long time. Fade, what's your outlook on Georgia this season beyond the UT game?
Is there a feeling in Georgia yet that the Dawgs are starting to slide in a negative direction? Tennessee has obviously slid and Vol fans realize this. Just wondering what the feeling is down there about the general direction of your program.
Wonder what Auburn fans think about their program now. They look like they are going to fall right off the map for a couple of years at least.
That would place them squarely next to the Vols.
your description of their offense sounds very appropriate for our defense.I don't think that Tennessee is as bad as Auburn. Hopefully Tennessee's defense will improve later this year and next. The same can't be said for Auburn as their offense is horrid. They will be lucky to make a bowl game this year and have zero offensive talent except for a very young Cody Burns.
I dont think there are any true Dawg fans that feel the program is in Decline. Our only down year in the last 6 ended with a 9-4 record with wins over 3 ranked teams. This year we are extremely young at almost every position and are still managing to be competitive. I am very happy to be a Dawg fan and think our best is yet to come. Plus I really dont think we could complain about playing for 3 SEC championships and winning 2 in the past 6 years. But then again I am not a bandwagon fan I was around for the Goff and Donnan years.
I used to feel that way, until 2005 when I watched an awsome Vol defense complemented by an offense that couldn't find an endzone with a handheld GPS and a map. I think Kentucky is showing us, as they did during the late 90s, that you can can be a mid-tier SEC team with high powered offense and virtually no defense. If you can score 35+ppg you can count on turnovers, poor offensive execution by your opponent and penalties to offset some defensive weakness. Right now I'd have to opine that being able to score points is more important than being able to stop your opponent from scoring.your description of their offense sounds very appropriate for our defense. If I had to choose between the two, I would take the good D.
