Get Behind JG

To bad this wasn't the first game of the season. he might have had more confidence going into week 2. did show one thing. He's our only option at the position at this point.

Let's face it, JG proved he is a Super Star today, yes sir! For all those doubters (I was one) that just didn't think he has what it takes to QB an SEC team, wow were we wrong. I'm expecting an A** Kicking against FL-look out. His after the game interview was stunning-he knows he has what it takes, I'm smelling a NATY!!! At the very least-SEC Champions. I haven't seen it discussed yet, is everyone already planning on traveling-bowl game in our future.
Thanks to CP and JG, they have us on the fast track to National Prominence!

Troll or maybe on lsd not sure?

And great against a couple ranked teams last year. Terrible attempt at making a point.

We can cherry pick games all day.

He was the second ranked returning SEC qb. He had a bad game last week and a great game today.
Meaningless stat alert

How many 300 + yards games has he had?

How many career TDs does he have?

What's his record against Vandy?

Surely you're not suggesting his late throws are due to our receivers are too FAST? Then there isn't a reason to hold the ball so long before throwing it.
He isn’t. By the time he’s finished the play action pass, the WR’s have already ran past their zones. Poor route running

I’m proud of the kid. This was his coming out party and that blastoff that will be the rest of the season.

Let’s Go Vols!!!!
He threw a few SEC quality balls. The first quick out was. There was another later in the game that was really good that he delivered quickly. It is likely all of those 3 TD's would have been defended by an FBS opponent. The one to Tillman was very similar to the one vs BYU that was broken up.

He's still late. The decisions are quite a bit easier against a significantly lower quality D. I don't think anyone has ever questioned JG's ability to hit wide open receivers.

If he had Shrout's decisiveness... he'd be one of the top QB's in the country.

He "looked" better but let's see what he does against a decent opponent.

FWIW, USC's freshman QB has more yardage on less attempts vs BYU in the first half.... than JG had in the whole game.
