A great game 'statisitically', or a great game where he makes good reads, good QB decisions, keeps the offense moving, and throws touchdowns?

Second ranked SEC QB preseason. Beat a couple ranked SEC teams. Completed 60% plus vs SEC teams with the lowest int rate.

He's still a tick late, but much better. He has to trust himself; all his reads were good today. We need him to get there because behind him it looks pretty bleak.

Yeah, Callaway slowing down to come back to the ball for the TD and him holding the ball too long on several other throws where the WR was WFO was his coming out party! That crap won't bode well against a stud SEC CB/S that will be all over our receivers! JG will NEVER MAKE A THROW LIKE HILINSKI did a few minutes ago for the TD vs Bama. That was thrown inside a shoebox with two defenders all over the WR. You keep dreaming though.

If JG makes the right decision, doesn't turn the ball over and gets the ball in UT's playmakers next Saturday and leads UT to a win, THEN HE WILL PROVE ALL CRITICS WRONG!!! If he chokes like he did last year, it's time to sit his ass on the bench and let the two FRESHMEN QBs determine UT's future!!! I have been critical like most of JG. I really hope he proves me wrong and leads UT to a victory. But, I STILL have a feeling a FRESHMAN QB will be starting by midway through the season or sooner!!!

You give Maurer all the starters and let him throw the ball more than two times and I guarantee you he can show you who the best QB is on the team! The guy has the moxy and skill set BETWEEN THE EARS! He is also athletic. He just hasn't been in the system almost 4 years to know it! Maurer is the future!!! Unless, H B is.

Yeah, he looked great vs BAMA LAST YEAR. Didn't he? What high school team did he do it against? You will disappear next Saturday when JG shats his pants again and has to be replaced by one of both of the freshmen!!!

JG struggles but it does us no good to trash him. We need his confidence up if he is ever going to turn the corner.
