They split up a district that was 61% black into 3 separate districts. You can't make that up. Tennessee looses black representation in the state senate due to republican gerrymandering

They would still violate the U.S. Supreme Court ruling and would be wasting their time. The Virginia Supreme Court knew that. It's a moot point.

People acting like their right to vote has been taken away.
Memphis needs to wake tf up and realize the black community hasnt been helped under Dem leadership for decades. Actually the best thing to happen according to some there is when the task force came in and kids were playing in the neighborhoods for the first time in a long time.
Temu Malcolm X starts talking about lynchings and gets a standing ovation making a spectacle and martyr of himself. Typical ******** politicians and typical Memphis Dems who don’t give af about their residents.

Name another district in the state of Tennessee that is strictly an urban population center like the old 9th was. Answer there are none.

Maybe it’s because too many of you fools lack nuance, you’re not even asking a relevant question. Nobody is complaining about the right to vote, the issue is having your representatives chosen for you through political engineering rather than the other way around, you know, they way it was designed originally.
