It's getting a bit strange to see so many players basically dissing the fans. If this were a professional team/athletes, they'd be getting torn apart right now for hating on those who pay their salary, so to speak.
Worse still, and more damning, is that taken as a whole.....the legion of disgruntled fans, the weak excuses from the head coach, and the clueless comments from a few of the players.....are all signs of a team that is literally coming apart at the seams.
It's not good, from any angle.

Eh, I'd be more upset if Jones said Fulmer's a dumb ass to be honest. That would mean the team's coming apart.
I'd rather have a guy taking up for his coaches than dissing them.
So Haslam and Thorton and the other private "investors" of UT pay for most right??
I agree, but he "dissed" the fans, and Crompton seems oblivious to the fact that his level of play is simply not SEC-caliber.
Both were mistakes. Don't alienate the fans, and don't assume that they don't know "lost" when they see it.
If this keeps up, the media will have a field day with it, and Fulmer's image will only suffer more.

I understand people being rightfully upset, but could we please stop parsing the words of every single interview and building in sinister meanings to everything anybody says? It's just a 20 year old football player who's pissed off and standing up for the guy next to him.
