Florida should be favored in every game next year. Their road games are UT, Ole Miss, Vandy, FSU. @UT is their biggest game and psychologically the own UT. Barring the unforeseen upset I just see this as their year.

Tennessee is one year of QB development of Bailey and another top 10 class away from contending with UF and uga. We are close, but not quite there yet. I think this year is Florida’s to lose.

Of course, we are about 5 months out from the annual “ugaisloadedandisgoingtowinitallbecausewearethebestestever” drivel from the trash uga media and fan base. Truth is, this is the pinnacle of uga football:

Yeah, not nervous at all. Newman looked great at WF with crap talent around him, #1 QB for 2021 committed, and the guy running the offense now who nearly helped Ok State get to the MNC.

Thrilled actually.

Yeah, most of us believe the offense takes a huge leap forward.

Florida’s talent is crap. Only reason they’d contend is due to a weak schedule. Kirby owns Mullen.

Based on what? Losing their only productive RB? 80% of WR talent? Their best pass rushers?

The curs were 3 deep at OL with 4-5* athletes. It's crazy to think they won't be competitive for the East once again.

Besides, Florida is already claiming the East title for 2020 and a trip to the playoff.....you should read their friggin message boards.

We should probably worry about our own problems. We haven't proven anything to anyone in a very long time. Baby steps.

It is different in that I find UF fans infinitely less irritating than uga fans.

uga fans are like yellow labs - constantly needing affirmation of just how great they are.

UGa lost far more than than, replaces the Oline, Oline coach, OC, O system, has 1 good WR and he has issues, both RBs, QB, and Florida has a better schedule.

Really? I UF fans away from the stadium are not as bad as UGA fans. Yes the 1 gator on here is an ass but everytime you open Volnation there is another delusional UGA with completely unrealist expectations that replacing an Oline, 2 RBs, two of the top 3 WRs, QB, half the O staff and still having mark Smart as head coach is going to translate into 15-0. Too many freshman and too many new faces but as a breed UGA fans truly believe that that has no bearing on their reality. It's like watching a game at a bar and someone's wife is trying too hard to show everyone they really are a fan. And if you look through this thread it's been the standard response of the ugaers. If you visit their forums, thinking that maybe the slow and the uninformed visit us? You will find multiple threads reassuring each other that everything is fine "addition by subtraction" "Coley was the problem" "Fromm was the problem" "summer enrollees often start day 1". Its like reality holds no meaning and it's a video game were you can just plug everything in and start with a finished product.

They are counting on guys that haven't even signed with them yet to start. They were not 3 deep. They had a starting 5 and 2 guys that they could plug in. 4 of those starters are ineligible. 3 went pro and one tried taking a real class and failed. 1 of the 2 they rotated in transferred. 1 that was redshirted in involved as the suspect in a federal bullying case. They will likely have multiple guys starting that have never taken a college snap on day 1.

Florida has the huge schedule advantage and the talent to win the east next year.

And that is unrealistic and the height of ignorance. There is no reasonable way to expect UGA to take a leap forward this year on O, none.

lol it’s not only possibly for UGA to take a step forward on offense, it’s likely. Improving from averaging 30 a game isn’t some massive step forward with UGA’s talent. Also, you do know the difference between a civil case and a federal case right? You keep saying Webb has a federal charge against him when he doesn’t. If someone is trying to sue you then there is zero legal ramifications. Being a home is one thing, but having all of your posts be misinformation and straw men is another. I haven’t seen/heard a single UGA fan predict 15-0, yet according to you all of them are.

I think we agree. UF fans are generally much more realistic and less irritating than uga fans.

Lifelong (not bandwagon) Bama fans are similar, and most of them know and love football like we do.

Bandwagon Bama fans are much like uga fans - annoying, condescending, and in constant need of affirmation.

Go back and look at first year OCs it's very rare they succeed on year 1. Look at teams rebuilding an Oline th hey don't fare well year 1. Look at Olines with multiple freshman starters, they dont work out often, look at offenses that replace their O system from a run based to an RPR option they dont have a great track record, look at average grad transfer QBs because they fail more than win. Look at new OCs that haven't called plays the previous year because it rare the succeed in year 1. Look at RBs 2 years removed from playing because the norm is for them to be tentative for a while.

Looking at the cumulative odds and it's more likely they take a sizable step back than improve.
